This trap created to capture the elusive Bigfoot.
It was built in 1974 by the North American Wildlife Research Team.
After a miner claimed to see 18 inch long tracks similar to human feet.
The Bigfoot Trap is located in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest
near Grants Pass & can be found by hiking nearly a mile
up the Collins Mountain trail towards Applegate Lake.
