Sasquatch Step Over Barbed Wire Fence & Cross Highway

It was in the winter with about 2 feet of snow on the ground. I was driving truck in British Columbia about 10:30 pm when I saw a person standing along the road dressed in dark clothing. And as I got closer it made to giant step and crossed the road.
I had my driving lights on and with the snow on the ground I could see really good. It then stepped over a five-strand barb wire fence like you or I would one strand. Then it stopped, turned and faced me about twenty feet away.
I turned on my load lights and could see it very plain. We looked at each other for maybe five to 10 seconds. I left as fast as I could. Was it big foot who knows? All I know it was the biggest thing that I have ever seen in the wild. Covered in hair walking on two feet.
I have seen over 30 bears and just about every other wildlife around here but never anything this big. I believe that it was between 9 to 10 feet tall.

My older brother who has always lived in remote places in northern Alberta and ran a trap line deep in the woods asked me one time on a hunting trip what do you think about Bigfoot? I replied, yeah I don’t think so. He said, "no seriously I think they exist". I said "Randy that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard, an 8 foot ape that lives in the woods. Don’t be ridiculous.
It was 3 AM, I was coming from Salmo BC coming down the mountain towards Creston BC in a tractor trailer. It was a full moon at the beginning of August, you can’t imagine how light it is out when you’re up that high on the mountain. I’ve hunted and fished my whole life so I’m quite familiar with the animals in Canada.
As I came around the corner I immediately saw it on the right side coming out of the bush. It looked like it was going to cross the road. Now you must understand there is no traffic at night on the road. I saw it take three steps forward it made a weird turn which I have tried to imitate and cannot. It stepped forward and turned at the same time then took four steps back to the bush.
When it entered the bush it just disappeared, by this time I was about 50 yards from where it went in. I could see it lean out then lean back in three times seeing what I was doing. I had been applying my brakes quite hard by the time I got to the spot where it went in. I was doing about 10 km an hour, because of hunting I am very good at measurement and distance. I had marked a spot with my mind on a tree to the height it was, I estimate it was approximately 8 to 9 feet tall. I equated its weight to a moose which is between eight and 1200 pounds. I think it was around the 8 to 900 pound range.
The four steps it took back to get to the woods was about 10 yards. Each step was about 6 feet long, as it turned to the left towards me it never took its eyes off me the entire time it walked back to the bush. It was almond colored when the light from the moon hit the edges of its fur it was reddish color. It was huge, its back protruded from its shoulders which were the size of basketballs. Its arms look like a bodybuilders legs, they were longer than its torso almost to the knees as it got closer to the bush it couldn’t turn its head towards me, it had to turn its upper body because it’s trapeze muscles were so large. It’s chest was like a half of a barrel sitting on its body, its legs were shorter than you might expect. \
When it walked it didn’t straighten its knees they stayed bent the entire time, it’s head was round not conical shaped. It’s hair was slicked back on the top of its head and flowing long over the shoulders. I couldn’t see its eyes, just it’s dark eye sockets that were the shape of a human skull socket, just very large. Its mouth was wide with narrow lips, unfortunately I don’t remember it's nose, it looked like it didn’t have a neck although as it was walking towards the bush its head came out in front of its body so it could look around its shoulder. This was very disconcerting looking.
I have rock climbed, kayaked, canoed, hunted and fished in some very remote places. I’ve been within feet of black bears and grizzly, and never felt afraid. The hair on the back of my neck and head stood straight up, the weirdest feeling of fear came over my entire body. This happened early in August 2012, I can still see it in my mind as if it was a picture.

Hi and Thank you for the invite here. I live in BC Canada and have had some sightings here in BC on the mainland & the island by many with many stories from Native people here.
I have only seen two in my life time about ten years apart. One up in Yale BC the other around Hells Gate also in BC.
The first was in the 80s going through the Hells Gate area, it was a little high up the mountain but was very visible by my wife at the time and myself. She asked what's that up there do you see it? I was driving looking at the road but glanced up and there it was. Orangey/Brown and it stood on a cliffside staring down at the HWY.
It was hard to not look at it as we got closer and past the beast. We had fear, it was up high enough but did not appear to be shy watching the traffic flying by. We said OK that was so F-ing weird,, Never tell anyone they will think we are nuts or full of it. But WOW! I never forgot it.
The other was in Yale BC a few years ago. It was also up a mountain and gone within maybe 50 seconds or so. Was stunned seeing it. It was standing close to a water runoff that had been whacked apart wide in some spots from snow. It stood looking at the falls spilling over like it was figuring a way to cross it and it did just that. It seemed to go into the falls somehow without being washed out and it appeared on the other side in seconds and then continued on into the brush and was gone.

They were both large but the Orange/Brown one was bigger. I have a horse and he is fair in size, they were both big enough to carry him I think, but it was hard to tell. They are thick in body though, Ten feet maybe 11 or 12 for the Orange/Brown one. Their arms were so thick.
Being high enough up it was very hard to estimate that but Wow when one thinks about it! Hells gate area & Yale can be busy with them we hear from Native people in Yale, All through the mountains they say if fish are near by they will be too! Kinda scary in a way, we had some stories told to my wife and I in Yale when we had a gold claim there. I have since sold that claim lol

In 1976 I saw a sasquatch when I worked in Spuzzum B.C. Canada.. I met John Green a famous sasquatch hunter at the time.. was on tv in a documentary. I have never forgotten that experience
I was 16 .. I worked in a town called Spuzzum. It was April and I was out riding a motor bike along an old highway . I went under a bridge where there was an "s" curve.. when I came out of the curve on the road in front of me was a sasquatch.. It was less than 50 yards in front of me.. That's where the road ended ..
There was a huge pile of rocks there about 7 feet high and it was taller than the rocks .. It turned and went up a hill to the railroad tracks. I turned the bike around and took off. I went and told my boss and he and a big guy named Bear. They went back back to where I saw it with their German Sheppard. We got out of the car and the dog got out, when the dog got to where I had seen it, it whimpered and ran back to the car. On the right is a huge drop to the river and we could see where it had walked. We all got back in the car and left.
I called the Yale newspaper and its how I got in contact with John Green. He owned the paper. He came out and I drew a picture of what I had seen. He and I went back and the impressions in the gravel were still there.
He told me he believed me and gave me some books he had written. I was in the news paper and then I was contacted by the CBC to be in a documentary about it... So I did.
I could never camp out there to this day I'm still scared when I go there .. I'm 63 now .. I just recently went there with my brother and I was still scared to be there.

Less than 100 feet when I got my motorcycle turned around and got out of there. I took it by surprise and it took me by surprise.. like i say I'm still afraid to go back there . I've been there a couple of times since but not for long.

My name is Sharon M. I'm half Canadian. My mom's family lived in BC little town out side Salmo.
I grew up in Chicago suburbs. Every Summer we lived up in BC.
Back story My grandfather came over from Sweden by working Canadian Railroad.
He built a log cabin on side mountain 160 acers. Raised 7 kids up there logging logs down side mountain in 1900s.they even did some mining up there.
Farmed and raised milk cows.(mom 1933 middle girl of 7)
My grandfather was awesome mountain/farmer survival. The Candian Forestry even gave him an honoree plaque for being first logger to practice Conservation since 1900s.
So in this little town off hwy the is few homes and mobile home village. At 12yrs old I had to walk about 1. 1/2 miles down grandpa's logging road to get to all my friends houses, main road.
Now back then..I loved horses, cowboys, Indians and was a budding naturalist. I read every nature book i could. I'd identify rocks trees, not your ordany kid from Illinois suburbs.. I was nature animal nut..I knew there was bigfoot..I never put them by my towns..more like Yellowstone park.
Now my friends down in the neighborhood on the hwy showed us a garbage dump and we watched Bears. And warned us about boogeyman but they called him Chabra?? Can't really remember but you where never supposed to walk alone on the railroad track, he might grab you and you never be found.
We usally visit June to August. My grandpa's cabin had no running water. No electric, no hot water. A party line phone. No inside plumbing just outhouse. I have going there since I was 5 yrs old. Now at 12, I have a 7 yr old brother. Attached is GPS photo of a logging road I walked.
Now is been almost 30 years..Since my brother I talk about Bigfoot and watch your videos. Something started comming back as we reminiscent and things that happened now fall into place.
You be the judge..3 separate incidents that happened on this road and Pasture leading to the creek. I'll send you stock photos and a map. The road now has a name please don't publish it privacy issues. XXXX RD....
Just off hwy 3.. the road goes farther than in the 70s. Its about 3 miles up to cabin and on east side road there's 50ft drop off that is thick an dark trees drops straight down to the creek. Fast running.
The opposite the road cut into side hill so 20ft tall get up Pasture.
The creek had stunning huge borders and river rock that runs pretty fast spring mt. creek.
If we walked about4 miles north and went down to creek we could bamboo pole fish in crystal clear eddys you can see the trout!

At dusk I would walk home alone.. sing watching bear.lol
I got 1 1/2 half way I could smell something dead...looked around held my nose really hard breath so strong.. I then remember a small quarter size rock come bouncing past me. I stop looked behind me..thinking it was boys followed me playing tricks but nobodys there..I kept going and happened again..this time I picked up rock thru in trees said " hay that not nice,stop it" and smell got stronger I could breath. I said leave me alone and I started troting up the road all took about 10min.. then I got to the "Y" in road I ran fast up to cabin 300 yards. Keep in mind there are No homes anywhere on gravel road. I was Upset kept telling my mom boys throwing rocks at me and something really smelled bad..she said probably skunk.. it was not..

Then next thing was 5 off us kids decided go fishing .We had about 5miles to walk up a road past our cabin and another 2.5miles north, then east go down to the creek.. once you get past cabin and cow Pasture it turns to deep woods. And is a 2 tire dirt road. About an hour walk we all laughing talking. We came upon a teepee.. at least we thought it was. The logs had to be 20'to 30' long atleast 5" round.. we started play around in it.. Astounded how tall and big it was. .Half was gone.we figured Indians moved away left it..lol
We continued down to the creek with big boulders to fish. Noise of the water was so loud we couldn't talk and hear each other.

My grandfather took my 7 year old brother with him in old 1950s out past the fishing spot to flag tree to cut. My Brother remembers my grandfather telling him seriously "do not leave my sight or stay back in the truck"..
Never would say why..I think grandpa new about Bigfoot..HE LIVED up there till his 80s alone...My brother also told me in same spot I had rocks thrown at me..He was afraid to walk there.He said he felt like he was being watched,and was really scared.He Refused to walk down road anymore. I use to tease him about being chicken.. Now 30 years later, we now believe we had a Bigfoot on our farm!

Yes, it was spotted by older man that lived near our farm. Nobody believed him because he did like to have a few.
Most kids did say they saw him on the railroad tracks far off, which scared them.
There was a sighting last year and Creston And Cranbrook and Salmo only 20 miles apart.

I heard in a video of yours that I watched that people could email their sighting to you, so I'll begin.
It took place in 2014 I was hunting in the Kootenai region, I used to do this every year when it was open season. I was using a ghillie suit and scent killers, I still remember the exact hour that this happened.
It was 4:38 pm, I put bait in the ground and I was in the bushes waiting for a bear to show up. I spent minutes crouching there when I felt a pat on my right arm. I got spooked and looked right and there was a huge man right beside me, crouching with me. I stood up and he stood up too, we were facing each other just like 80 centimeters from each other.
Its appearance was the most bizarre thing I had ever seen. It was taller than me, I'm a 1,97 m man (6'4"), I'd say his height was 2,15 m (7'5") and had oily black hair on the whole body and its skin was grey. The face was human, the only difference is that the nose was too big and the mouth was too wide with a huge space in the philtrum. The eyes were just like human eyes but less round, and had a bunch of wrinkles in the face like an old man. I didn't know what to think at the moment I wasn't exactly threatened. I thought it was some deformed person with some genetic anomaly that was lost in the woods.
Until I heard it speak, when it spoke in a gibberish language. To me its voice sounded like thunder, it was the deepest and most inhuman voice I had ever heard. Whatever he said to me it sounded like he was asking me something. I backed off a little bit and I said "what? who are you?" And I swear, the moment he heard me speak his face went from just curious to panicked, his eyes went wide open.
I took my ghillie suit's hood off showing my face, and this giant man screamed and fell flat on his ass, turned around and ran away from me on all fours and disappeared in the forest. I still don't know how that thing approached me without making a sound. That was the weirdest thing that ever happened to me.
After thinking about it for years I came to the conclusion that I saw a sasquatch, and I find it curious that he seemed to mistake me for one of his kind because of the ghillie suit, what bothers me about all of this is how scared he was of me after he heard my voice and saw my face without the hood. I know what I saw, the face I saw had human expressions. Wasn't normal but it had feelings, and the face he made when he saw my face was of somebody staring death in the face.

It happened in British Columbia Canada, where I live there is a region called "the Kootenays" it all happened in there, I don't remember the exact local in that region because I was guided by a hunter who showed me the location where I could hunt and he marked the place so I wouldn't get lost.
This sighting really marked me, the face the sasquatch made, makes me think of a person who got caught by surprise. You know, when that man saw my face it really felt like he thought I was gonna kill him, before he fell to the ground and took that four legged stance. He even extended his arm to my direction like when a person tries to push away something that is about to attack, you know what i'm talking about right?
Ive read stories about sasquatch hiding from people and when spotted they would run away. I think getting too close to normal people is not a good thing in their vision.
I think the fact that I'm a tall man like i said 1.97 m or 6,4 feet tall played a part on this sasquatch thinking that I was another one.

Hello there
My name is Ed Thomas from Vancouver Island British Columbia. Here's our encounter.
During the fall of 2016 We took our boat to a popular fishing area at the mouth of GoldStream in Finlayson Arm. During the fall salmon run. We fished until dark at this point we decided to putt to the boat dock. On clear ride would take close to half n hour to return to dock.
The Malahat peaks over 1100 feet to our left, the Highlands peak to 500 ft on our right. We putted along the Malahat shoreline with our 50 hp 4 stroke yamaha. Very good quiet motor.
As we came around a rocky outcrop we heard loud splashes followed by something very large running up the mountain. Our spotlight couldn't find it.
I must note i am an avid outdoorsman/hunter what we heard i could not relate to any wild animals reaction to seeing us. A deer could not have made that much noise and a bear doesn't spook that easy to go crashing up a rocky cliff.
We rounded another rocky outcrop and heard more splashing in the water. This time we caught a large round figure in the water with our spotlight. I put the boat in neutral and kept the light on what we now believe the back of his head.
With the tide moving i had to keep adjusting the boat. After a couple of minutes we hear big splashes to the right of the figure in the water. I panned my light but could not see anything. Quickly put the light back on the figure we could see, then more splashes from the left. I quickly panned the light could not see anything to the left either.
We watched the figure in the water for maybe 20 minutes. We could see it moving but trying really hard not to. Then something unreal happened. I believe it took a mouth full of water and kinda choked on it. Thats exactly the sound we heard. Like a human took too much liquid and gurgled it.
At that point the figures arms came up out of the water and start slamming its arms and hands on the water. It gave up trying to hide and stumbled to shore where it fell in aheap. We could hear it catching its breath. Every breath had a little growl underneath. After a few minutes it got up and went up a huge rock wall like nothing and disappeared.
I believe we encountered at least 4 that night. Being in a boat i did not want to get too close as i heard of rock throwing so played it safe staying a good distance from shore.
My wife and i know what we seen that night. Will never forget listening to it catching its breath laying on shore.

We believe it to have been well over 8 feet tall. I'd guess 3.5 to 4 ft at the shoulders. Hard to guess a weight as we didn't get a good profile view of it. It was huge. The wall it climbed after catching its breath had to be over 40 feet. It scaled that mere seconds. All we seen was its back the entire time but it was black as night.
My wife was in total shock and awe of what we were seeing. Took her awhile afterwards to really comprehend what she had just seen.
Our thoughts are they were fishing as Finlayson Arm narrows into Goldstream which has a huge salmon run each fall.

Hi, I have an interesting pic from my stealth cam I would like you to see. I live in Nanaimo, British Columbia and my trail cam is in a place near Kennedy Lake near the west coast of Vancouver island. I sent this pic to a few well known researchers from BC. Here is pics triggered on the night recently on Nov. 29th /2015 from my trail cam. (cam had incorrect settings on night shot, should read 'PM' and year 2015)
My buddy Jeff is in the shot in daylight as I aimed my cam and placed in a tree on a approx 6 ft bank in a tree, closer to this small creek. FYI he is 5' 10" tall.
I circled the exact location of the face /head of this possible Sasquatch .The face is looking back toward cam ...
I approximated the height at 8-9 feet judging by the daylight pic.
My cam is a Stealth and is 5 meg resolution. It is pixelated when you expand the shot, but there is enough to make out the deer's left ear (partial right) nostrils,eyes etc... FYI seems the deer is looking to it's left.
It is a rather odd situation in this shot as the deer is seemingly suspended by it's front legs.
Let me know your thoughts on this.

Stride length from foot 👣 to foot was 5-6 ft away from each other and there was a big Male Bigfoot and a female Bigfoot walking with a big black timber Wolf along the side of the highway here in Bella coola British Columbia Canada

No one reports there sightings to anyone here .... because everyone just keeps there sightings to themselves .... everyone knows they live around here in Bella coola BC Canada because people have recordings of the Bigfoot yelling ....there is a family of Bigfoot around here about 4-5 Bigfoot of them ....they walk through our village and on the river banks
