Hello, I'm from Texas and this sighting happened in 2008 in New Brunswick, at this time I was 57 years old and my grandchildren were only 6, 8, and 9 years old. I travelled to NB to visit my daughter, son-in-law and my 3 grandchildren.
During the second week with them we already had done everything possible to pass the time, and my son in law drove us to a place, that if I remember correctly was called Mount Carleton Park to have a picnic in a campground in that area. everything was alright until around 3 pm when my 8 year old grandson Billy said that he saw a gorilla in the bushes.
I just found it weird because there are no ape types in north America and Billy was just a kid and he certainly didn't know that, but he was saying that over and over and pointing to some tall bushes about 80 yards from us. I had a gun in my holster so I was preparing to take it out in case it was a black bear.
I stood up and approached the tall bushes and when I was just 6 yards away from it, it emerged from the tall bushes. Something that I can only describe as a giant furry man walking perfectly on all fours. The distance was enough for me to tell that its skull was way bigger than mine its shoulders were extremely wide and had a bunch of apish features. The only things human about its face was only the nose and its ears, because the rest really resembled an ape of some kind. The forehead, the dark brown eyes, the wide mouth, the thick neck, the furry silverish-grey body with some chunks of it being brown, the light grey skin.
Everything was off about this creature and it was standing on its fists, not knuckles, FISTS and yet its back was straight, nothing like a gorilla, and way bigger than a gorilla, there is just no comparison. The height at all fours was about 6.4 feet tall.
I wanted to pull the gun from my holster but my family was back there, if I missed the shot everybody was going to be in danger. Then the creature stood up and I don't know how tall it was at the moment because there was only the bushes as a reference but it was literally a giant.
It made a low pitched sound that I can't describe exactly, then I turned around and ran to the picnic area and just yelled to everyone get inside the van. We got inside the van and I tuned the car on, and I saw that the thing followed me and was just 20 yards from the van.
I could tell the height now because of the trees, it had to be at least 12 feet tall because it was taller than some of the smaller trees. I wasn't believing in the size of that man/creature. When my grandchildren saw that from inside the van they just screamed. My daughter and son in law were paralyzed & shocked.
I got us out of that place as soon as possible. I know I wasn't hallucinating because everybody saw what I saw and my grandson Billy saw it first from the distance so I'm writing this because I always wanted to ask somebody that understands about this type of topic, was me and my family being observed by a Skunkape/Sasquatch?

Wow that thing was huge. The species of bigfoot, sasquatch, skunk-ape or whatever locals call it in a certain area seem to get larger the further north you get.
Of course they aren't born 8 feet tall. Sounds like you all must have seen a full grown adult male.

I talked to my daughter about the incident and she said when I was driving us out of there I was only looking forward and I wasn't looking back. I remember them screaming as I was driving the car on the dirt road, I couldn't be too fast because I could crash the car. But I was at 31 miles per hour and my daughter said that the creature was following us on all fours at a fast pace walking, not running, and stopped 2 minutes after and just vanished. I still get disturbed on how big and stealthy that thing was, and fast too.

My name is James, I live in a small town called Armstrong in Ontario.
Back in 2019 I was going through a hard time. See I was 52 years old at that time and I had lost my wife to cancer and unfortunately we never had kids.
From time to time I would drive northeast to a lake called the Blue Lake to practice stone skipping in the water. It was a way I found to treat my depression instead of doing nothing, since I'm a retired man.
One of these days I was sitting down in a beach chair that I brought in my pickup truck in the margin of blue lake. After I practiced stone skipping, I was very relaxed and I slept in the chair. I woke up with strange noises in the forest beside me. It sounded like heavy footsteps, I looked at my wristwatch it was 4pm.
Less than 5 seconds later, this giant hairy man came out of the woods and stood just 6 meters from me, it was almost double of my size. I'm a 1,88m man, this man was surely about 3,50m tall, he was wider than a wardrobe, certainly weighting more than 800 pounds. His body was completely covered in brownish-red hair except for the face and hands. He had massive musculature, and his skin was beige, almost like a caucasian person. I saw his face, it was almost like a human but feral, wide triangular nose, wide mouth, a thick forehead bone and had a big beard around its face, almost like a mane. Its eyes were greenish yellow, he had an annoyed expression on his face like it was annoyed by my presence.
It was growling at me while standing there, I did not have a reaction I was in shock at the moment. Slowly I got up from the chair, and was walking slowly to my pickup. Each time I took a step he approached a little more, before I had the chance to open the door of my pickup. The man did a bluff charge, my heart almost stopped because I was unarmed and I knew this thing could kill me if he wanted to. I quickly threw the beach chair at the back and entered the pickup and stomped the accelerator and drove away while that thing just stood there looking at me go away.
I came back to my town and I went inside my house and puked in the toilet. I was extremely terrified, the thought of telling what I saw to the officer came to my mind. I talked to the officer of the town about what I saw and he told me he would be back soon.
He drove to the lake and came back. I asked him about it and he said he saw nothing except for some footprints. Then I asked him the size of the footprints, and he said "look that doesn't matter, next time you go alone in the woods just take a shotgun or a rifle with you. We never had this conversation ok? never tell this to anybody here" he said in a threatening tone.
To this day I'm terrified of going outside at night because the town is surrounded by woods and sometimes I have nightmares of that man I saw, invading my house and attacking me.
I never heard about Bigfoot or Sasquatch until now. Now that I heard about it, I think what I saw that day matches the description, what do you think?

Your description sounds like a bigfoot type creature.
1,88m = 6 feet 2 inches in height.
3,50m = over 10 feet tall.
And 800 pounds.
Wow, that thing was huge.
Must have really looked like a person even though it was a giant covered in hair, because you keep referring to it as a man.

Greetings Rmso, I'm Russell, the story I want to report is not mine, it's my parents'. It happened when I was just a 5 month old baby.
In 1992 my Father and Mother were very poor, we lived in a cottage, a mile away from the small city of Mayo/Yukon/Canada, my dad was working hard, saving money so we could get out of there and live a better life in some better city. We had a german shepherd named Barney, he guarded the house.
It all happened in the winter of 1992. It was evening and was snow storming, my mom was in the living room with me sleeping in her arms. My dad said that he was going to enter the garage and fix the car axle that was slightly loose, the problem is that the garage was only accessible by the outside.
He left and took barney with him, by the time he finished fixing the car and closed the garage he noticed barney looking at one specific direction. Without warning barney ran barking in that direction fading into the snowstorm, my father ran after him yelling his name.
He ran for about 8 yards when he saw a huge shadow coming his direction walking on two legs. My father told me he thought it was a bear for a second, but then as the shadow approached he noticed it had a coned head, wide shoulders, long arms, huge hands, massive muscles. Its entire body was covered in jet black fur head to toe, and he saw its face that he describes as a mix of an orangutan face and a human face. The thing stood in front of him and roared at his face, this exact moment he sprinted to the house and locked the door.
He said to me the sound was so loud that his ears rang, it woke me up and I started crying. My mother asked my father what the hell was that roar? He didn't say anything, he just grabbed his shotgun and said to my mother to hide in the wardrobe with me.
She managed to make me stop crying and stayed silent inside the wardrobe, my father said he looked out the window and he saw something that made him fear for our lives. He saw the creature that roared at him outside, looking at the house, but now there was 2 more creatures with him.
One was jet black like the 1st one, but smaller. Dad swore to me the smaller one had breasts, the third one was even taller than the other two. It had grayish tan skin and snow white fur, but wasn't as bulky as the one that roared at him. Dad said the creatures started looking at each other and he heard them making a sound that sounded like some kind of gibberish language.
He could see their mouths were moving very fast, he could measure their size according to the trees outside, the bulky one that roared was about 9 ft tall, the female one 7 ft. The big white one 11 ft. At this point dad said to me that he just stood there in the living room waiting for them to try to barge into the house so he could shoot them.
He waited for hours and nothing happened except for the sound of little rocks being thrown at the house. The noises stopped and he saw the clock, its was already 7 am, and he said to my mother to lock the door because he was going outside.
He got outside with his shotgun and found 3 different tracks, human like tracks, he measured one to be 53 to 55 cm, the other one 60 cm and the other one was over 70 cm. He ran to the same direction barney went and he found barney's corpse. 20 yards from the house, his head was crushed.
Hes sure that was one of the creatures that killed barney. He was a big german shepherd, and by the look of his corpse he was easily killed, dad buried him in the yard of the property.
Two weeks after this event my dad got enough money for us to move to the city of Whitehorse and buy a house there, we moved and I lived there to this day. I'm certain that dad saw three bigfoots that day.

53 to 55 cm is around 21 inches, 60 cm is around 23 inches & 70 cm is around 27 inches.
Even the smallest one is huge.
Do you know what your father used to measure the bigfoot tracks. Anyone take any photos of any of the tracks back then? Or do you have a photo of the homestead where all of that happened?

Hi, I talked with my father about these details and he said to me that at the time they only had money for food and all the basics, they were very poor and didn't have a camera, so he never took a photo of the house or the tracks.
He said he measured the footprints in the snow with two school scales, each one 30 cm. He said the smaller footprints (the female) was around 53-55 cm, the footprints of the big one that roared at him a little bigger than the two scales together which makes it 60+cm, and the big white one's footprints were distorted, almost like he was dragging his feet which made the footprint look bigger than it actually was, but my dad measured them and it was 70-80 cm. I believe the big one was too heavy and was dragging his feet that is why the footprint looked so big.
My father said one more thing, the big white one looked old and was a little hunchback too.

“Here’s our strange experience … it’s been weighing on me for a long time.
October 8th 2021 at about 4:30 PM my husband Arnie and I were vacationing in Parksville. We love to hike so we headed to Englishman River Falls. After doing the usual tourist hike of the falls, we headed into the area with bike and hiking trails that has its own little parking lot about a kilometer down the road from the falls. We were the only car in that lot.
We hiked for a couple hours on the trails that follow the river. On our return we came around a corner and saw an individual on the small hill above us. It took a few seconds to process what was happening. I tried to make light of the situation, assuming (hoping) it was a person in a great costume. The individual did not respond but crouched down and watched us. This is when my brain engaged and I started taking photos. I understand now why no one gets good photos! I should have taken video but we were starting to get nervous.
We headed straight back to the car. We tried to think of ways that this was just a person in a costume.
I scoured local media trying to see if anyone else reported some guy in the bush scaring hikers. Nothing. The only other person we encountered that day was a single biker further along the hike. This is not a well-used area so if someone wanted to scare hikers and bikers it was an odd area to do it.
Anyways, I have shared these photos quite a bit and everyone has said I should show them to someone who knows something about Sasquatch. I’m still hoping it was some strange guy in a really good costume in the middle of nowhere but I’ll let you be the judge.”
I purposely only put two of the four pictures I was sent today because I believe many will not be able to deal with it in a mature way. I will share them, but I think I will do it in an edited video comparing this one to others I have gathered through the years.
My opinion? Well 1st let me say I grew up not 5 miles from that sighting area. I asked questions to the husband and wife and now that I have more data I can honestly say, yes I believe it to be one.
Now before some keyboard warriors get their panties in a bunch and go down the negative path, I will BLOCK you. As always, I am open to positive comments for or against but if you’re against, you best back it up with good chatter instead of a whine.
Just to be clear this was on Vancouver Island. Our Sasquatch are like we Indians from region – sparse hair on face. Our regional Sasquatch don’t look like they jumped off a Harley Davidson with a full on biker beard.
Now why do I think it’s the real deal Sasquatch?
· Conical head
· Very pronounced philtrum area (space from upper lip to just under nose).
· Sparse hair on face
· Tanned skin on face and showing below hair
· Hair looks oily and not synthetic
· Body hair looks matted due to tree sap and other factors making it bunch up
· Sunken in mean look to eyes
· Looks like the ones I have seen
Conducting interview and knowing where this place is and time of day I really don’t think someone would be in a suit in this part of trail that very few use. If one wanted to scare someone they would have been up where the main parking lot and well used trails are about 3/4 mile away.
I also asked how far from river? I was told about 12 minutes’ walk. October 8th is prime time for salmon spawn in that river and Sasquatch was seen in area I think is below the falls? Sasquatch always found in areas of high abundant seasonal food.
The other two pictures I will post in time really had me intrigued for the setting sun really brightened up the face. So much so that for now let’s just analyze these two pictures.
This Sasquatch was seen up river 3 miles from where we have been keeping track and investigating urban edge Sasquatch in the small city of Parksville.

I was always skeptical and had some belief in sasquatch but once I seen this the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Now there is no changing my mind, they are out there more then we even know I lve seen footprints in this same spot several times, I don't document them because I don't want to draw any attention to the area.... location will not be told.
There was multiple here I just only took pictures of the clearest track, there was right left right coming out of the water then they disappeared because of solid ground
I seen 3, the prints where coming out of a very deep hole, at least 7ft deep and the first step u can see where it's heal slid in the mud then the good picture I got was where it's left foot got onto flat ground and the 3rd print was very faint, it was on solid ground but u could just make it out

I've seen massive tracks in the same area probably a young one with it's mom or dad for sure.
where I seen this print I've seen many more In the area I think a few of them stay there all year round it Is a perfect place for them it is nearly untouched and I have left apples and little things for them before.

At approx. 2:39 in the afternoon Mrs. Heibert was
opening the blinds in the back bedroom of the cabin and noticed a very large
hairy upright creature on the top of the hill about 50-70 yards away. She
informed Mr. Heibert who grabbed the digital camera and went outside to take a
picture of it. While walking around the back corner of the cabin powering up
his camera (8 MP Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT, 300 mm lens) out of the corner of
his eye he noticed it had seen him and froze. He had to delete several pictures
from his SD card in order to be able to take any pictures. Mr. Heibert managed
to take 2 pictures and while looking down at the camera it disappeared only to
reappear 15 minutes later at the wood pile. It was peeking at him from the tree
line beside a path. It was approx. 10 + feet tall and very massive. The
creature roughly estimated to be twice the size of the witness. 3 pictures were
taken in all. The pictures were taken from the back of the cottage looking up
the hill from the top of the propane tank cabinet.“This thing stood perfectly still for what seemed
like 5 minutes. I turned my head for a split second and it was gone”.In the following weeks the screens were pushed in
or torn off some windows of the cabin.
