"Woodland Spirit" Captured on Camera
Mexico's Andrés Manuel López Obrador tweeted a photo purportedly taken last week by an engineer working on the Maya Train railway that will be around 1,000 miles long when completed.
The Mexican president claims that the figure crouched in a tree with glowing eyes is "Aluxe" a mystical woodland spirit.
Many Mexican news outlets report that the image shared by the president is extremely similar to other images shared on social media.

The way this creature is perched in the tree suggests that it is not a ghost or a spirit.
Perhaps another unexplained cryptid, maybe a Central American version of Sasquatch

Hi, I witnessed a thing that probably will be of interest to you, I'm an aged man. A 67 years old Russian born that lives in Austria and my english is not the best, but I'll try my best to tell everything with no spelling errors.
My father was a military biologist when he was alive, working at the time of the soviet union. He took me to assist him in a expedition in a extensive volcanic area which is full of brown bear. I believe in english would be “Kronotsky nature reserve” I don't know if the name was the same at that time, this happened in 1986.
As we arrived there in a helicopter, in a location where only authorized personnel were allowed. We walked for kilometers and kilometers, for days and he would write everything he observed in a thick journal. I would assist him, collecting small volcanic rocks, plants, samples extracted from kelps in lakes. We were almost done with the checklist. We were close to a shallow river where we saw two brown bears drinking water. Here's a description of the place: we were up in a hill which was steep by the side of the river, so no one down there would see us in the bushes. Beside the river there was forest and in the back there was a small waterfall.
We watched the bears for minutes until one of them stood up and started to smell the air and make sounds to the other one, they roared and they just ran off. My father got frustrated because he needed to document more behavior. That's when the unsettling part starts, my father was going to stand up and walk away. I was going to do that too, as I was turning around he pulled me back and told me to shut up.
He pointed again to the direction of the river and I saw what he was pointing at, in the same spot that the bear were. There was a hairy person there standing up, two human feet, human hands a rough looking face and hair in the whole body, with a small beard on the chin. Looked athletic, not too tall, probably smaller than 1,90 m. As that man was drinking water we noticed two more approaching the river. One was gargantuan over 3 and half meters tall, unbelievably strong looking and had a serious look in the face. The third one we could see had breasts and wasn't as wide in the shoulders as the other two, probably two meters and something. And had two babies with it, one in her back and the other one in her arms. They looked like baby humans but hairy, with strong bodies and moved very fast in the mothers body. All of them had brown hair and light tan skin. I didn't know what exactly I was looking at, I had never heard of any type of person that looked like that. Let alone a entire family of these wild people.
My father was there writing a lot of things in his journal as we were witnessing this. I could hear them making sounds and looking at each other like they were talking. I cant replicate here the exact same thing that they were saying but some part of it sounded like this:”kra pa tro ku ku” “hua kur gryt otre”. That's the closest I can get of a part of the “dialogue“. The big one made a sound that sounded like a frequency of some sort that made our ears eerie, and they followed up the waterfall and disappeared.
When we got back from that territory my father delivered the report journal to his superiors and he told me that they said to him that what we saw there in that territory needed to stay between them and us and we should never talk about it with any civilians or any unauthorized personnel.
Well I think I know what I saw that day, probably a family unit of Yeti. A father, the mother, their sub adult son, and his two little brothers, at least that's what I think. I don't know if they are bigfoots because I always heard about yeti from where I was born. I just heard about the name bigfoot when I was browsing the internet in an english network and I saw the “bigfoot” and got surprised with the amount of western people witnessing things like my sighting. By the way that's how I heard about your organization, but again, this happened at the siberian province so I don't know if I call the Yeti or Bigfoot.

The one that was 1.9 M would be around 6 feet 5 inches tall
The gargantuan one you said was 3 and half meters tall would be over 10 feet tall.

The thing that I found the most interesting about all of this, is how the bears fled the area, they smelled their scent before they could get in the area and fled. Those were kamchatka brown bears, they're big animals and yet they got intimidated just by the approaching of the yeti family.

Hello, I'm from Texas and this sighting happened in 2008 in New Brunswick, at this time I was 57 years old and my grandchildren were only 6, 8, and 9 years old. I travelled to NB to visit my daughter, son-in-law and my 3 grandchildren.
During the second week with them we already had done everything possible to pass the time, and my son in law drove us to a place, that if I remember correctly was called Mount Carleton Park to have a picnic in a campground in that area. everything was alright until around 3 pm when my 8 year old grandson Billy said that he saw a gorilla in the bushes.
I just found it weird because there are no ape types in north America and Billy was just a kid and he certainly didn't know that, but he was saying that over and over and pointing to some tall bushes about 80 yards from us. I had a gun in my holster so I was preparing to take it out in case it was a black bear.
I stood up and approached the tall bushes and when I was just 6 yards away from it, it emerged from the tall bushes. Something that I can only describe as a giant furry man walking perfectly on all fours. The distance was enough for me to tell that its skull was way bigger than mine its shoulders were extremely wide and had a bunch of apish features. The only things human about its face was only the nose and its ears, because the rest really resembled an ape of some kind. The forehead, the dark brown eyes, the wide mouth, the thick neck, the furry silverish-grey body with some chunks of it being brown, the light grey skin.
Everything was off about this creature and it was standing on its fists, not knuckles, FISTS and yet its back was straight, nothing like a gorilla, and way bigger than a gorilla, there is just no comparison. The height at all fours was about 6.4 feet tall.
I wanted to pull the gun from my holster but my family was back there, if I missed the shot everybody was going to be in danger. Then the creature stood up and I don't know how tall it was at the moment because there was only the bushes as a reference but it was literally a giant.
It made a low pitched sound that I can't describe exactly, then I turned around and ran to the picnic area and just yelled to everyone get inside the van. We got inside the van and I tuned the car on, and I saw that the thing followed me and was just 20 yards from the van.
I could tell the height now because of the trees, it had to be at least 12 feet tall because it was taller than some of the smaller trees. I wasn't believing in the size of that man/creature. When my grandchildren saw that from inside the van they just screamed. My daughter and son in law were paralyzed & shocked.
I got us out of that place as soon as possible. I know I wasn't hallucinating because everybody saw what I saw and my grandson Billy saw it first from the distance so I'm writing this because I always wanted to ask somebody that understands about this type of topic, was me and my family being observed by a Skunkape/Sasquatch?

Wow that thing was huge. The species of bigfoot, sasquatch, skunk-ape or whatever locals call it in a certain area seem to get larger the further north you get.
Of course they aren't born 8 feet tall. Sounds like you all must have seen a full grown adult male.

I talked to my daughter about the incident and she said when I was driving us out of there I was only looking forward and I wasn't looking back. I remember them screaming as I was driving the car on the dirt road, I couldn't be too fast because I could crash the car. But I was at 31 miles per hour and my daughter said that the creature was following us on all fours at a fast pace walking, not running, and stopped 2 minutes after and just vanished. I still get disturbed on how big and stealthy that thing was, and fast too.

Around 1996. I was boating Banana river east of Port Orange Florida.. On the Kennedy Space Center side of river in the evening. I was letting the boat drift about 200 yards from shore working on boat motor.
I saw something on shore on all fours and digging for something in the sand at waters edge. At first I thought a skinny looking cow and what is a cow doing there and why is it digging?
Then it stood up and walked off on 2 legs. Most people would say why didn’t you think it was a bear. I haven’t seen a lot of bear in Florida even though there are many. But I have seen more bear in other states and it wasn’t a bear.
It looked and moved like a very large man. And I see a lot of cows where I live, so I immediately thought of a cow. Other people have said it was on Kennedy space center property so it was a space center guard in a guilly suit. No, it was dark brown and stood out against the green bushes just behind it. And a guard would make the suit blend in. The guards are always in airboats anyway.
Also the area that it was in is very swampy and I don’t think a person could get there by walking. It appeared to be less than 7 feet tall, well built not heavily built like I’ve heard them to be. And long very dark brown shaggy looking hair.
It only walked a few yards on sand then ducked into the brush. Happened so fast I didn’t have time to get scared. However I had planned to spend the night on the boat and had to anchor in a little shallow bay the same direction it was heading. Worst night I’ve spent alone. Got so foggy after dark I couldn’t see 10 feet and all I had was a fileting knife. Didn’t sleep much that night.

My name is Theodore and I want to tell a story that my grandpa told me about his experiences with sasquatch in the 60s when he lived in a secluded house in Saskatchewan.
My grandfather was 22 years old and had been in the army, his mother died when he was 3 years old, so there was only his father. My great-grandfather bought a house in a remote area of Saskatchewan near a village called Beauval. He told my grandfather to go live there, get a job, and fend for himself.
It all started to happen in a few months after he moved to that house, he said that from time to time he would hear strange noises coming from the woods, especially the howls. My grandpa says they didn't belonged to wolves at all because they were static booming howls almost like sirens, but with extremely deep voices.
He explained to me that for example when you hear a bear roar or a dog bark, all you hear is the guttural sound of the throat in these animals, but when you hear a human making sounds like these they sound different because of the voices, so he said to me "imagine a human howling but with an unbelievably deep and loud voice" he said that he started to get used to it since nothing was happening, and he was making money chopping wood and selling it to a construction company who sent a truck into the village to buy cut wood from some of the villagers, he even adopted a female kitten that he called Ginger.
Two years after he was living there the encounters started, he was already used to hearing the sounds in the forest and he just always locked the door every time he entered or left the house, in one night he was having dinner in the kitchens table when he heard ginger hissing and looking at the kitchens window, he looked at the window and saw what he described to me as a giant monstrous man's face looking at him with bright amber colored eyes, wide mouth showing teeth to him with big canines, he screamed and fell off the chair, when he was going to get his revolver the man in the window had vanished, he said he just stayed up the entire night and when he got out to investigate he found nothing except for some big footprints, and a disgusting smell in the air, he said this was his first sasquatch encounter and he started to walk with his revolver.
The second one happened two years later, he was fishing in a big lake called Lac la Plonge and he saw a big human shaped hairy thing walking in the margin of the lake from afar and he just left the place in fear because he got flashbacks from the incident in the kitchen.
The third one happened one year after the second one, and it was his last, because he couldn't stay in that house anymore. He had a bad night because the noises in the forest were too loud and he was afraid of going outside.
When it dawned he opened the front door and he saw two giant men, 4 meters away from the porch of the house. He said both of them were 3 meters tall had brownish black hair all over the bodies and their faces were like monstrous humans, that's the only words he can find to describe their faces, he said one was very muscular and the other one had wounds in the body like it had a skin disease, and they both had long arms that had the wrists at the same height as the knees almost touching the ground, he said he panicked and took the revolver from his belt and fired four times at their direction.
He doesn't know if the shots found their mark, the only thing he remembers is the two running away from him and entering the forest in a matter of seconds. Then he smelled the same stench from 3 years earlier at the kitchen window incident. It even made him start coughing, two months after that he sold the terrain to a villager that was going to demolish the house to make a rubber shop. But the guy gave up and the terrain is now abandoned. I know that my grandpa took his cat and traveled to Saskatoon where he met my grandma, they married and they had three children, the eldest is my father.
My grandfather says to me that the things that terrorized him in northern Saskatchewan were very intelligent and did not look nor acted like animals. They're not like regular people either and they can struck a level of fear at a man's heart that not even a grizzly bear can. This is because he hunted grizzlies in the past and he did not fell the same fear as the fear he felt of the monster men of his past.
Just to clarify, the events took place in between 1962 and 1967
Its a thinker thunker video, my grandpa cried and got nauseated when he heard the howls from the video. He said these howls from the video sound exactly like the howls he heard in his youth. I felt bad because he's a 81 year old man, shouldn't have done that but this confirmed to me that his story is true.

My grandpa said the house had a basement with a pantry, and one morning after he spent the night away from home in the village. He returned to the house and found the basement door (wich was made of steel) torn off the wall and the pantry was ravaged.
All the meat and fruits were stolen, and he says he knows it was one of the monster men, a big one, because the steel door was all twisted, with big fingerprints in the metal.
We used to live in Pierce County in Washington, we moved to New York due to work commitments. When we lived in Pierce, the house we lived in had a good sized area of land at the back of the property. Me and my husband Tom used to set trail cams for our 3 young kids, we used to get some lovely wildlife and birds show up.
Back in August of 2020 we checked the cameras one day and found a photo of a strange humanoid shaped figure that had been captured by one of the trail cams. Not really sure what to make of the photo, we never showed it to the kids, it is very odd and peculiar looking, it does look like a long haired humanoid shaped figure covered in hair. I wonder if it could be some kind of Yeti or Bigfoot type of being?
We have just upgraded our computer system, the photo was in a saved folder on the old PC, to be honest we forgot all about it, not seen it in ages.
I thought I would send it to you guys to see what you make of it? We found RMSO after a quick Google search and thought you guys look very open minded, so we thought we would let you have the photo to use and share (if you do share it online please don't publish my surname). We are not interested in this subject, the photo just sits in a folder on the PC unseen, we are considering deleting it for good.

Pierce County is one of the top counties in Washington for Bigfoot sightings reported. BFRO shows 83 reports. Neighboring counties have many Bigfoot reports too. Lewis County has 50, King County has 47 & Skamania has 64.
Our team receives several sighting reports from these areas each year including photos, videos & vocalizations too.
Interesting trail camera photo, this does appear to be a hairy hominid of sorts.
Perhaps it could be a bigfoot individual.

It's interesting to hear that you think it could be a bigfoot individual, me an Tom agree, it does look like a hairy hominid of sorts. I see you put it up on your bigfoot blog, we are just as mystified as I suppose anyone else would be at seeing that figure, and it's interesting about all those bigfoot reports in Washington areas, we never knew that.
I should say, we no longer live in Pierce County, we moved to NYC some time ago. No, we never heard of any such stories from anyone in the area about bigfoots when we lived there. As for unusual tracks or footprints, the land was mainly grassland, not really much soil and dirt tracks to leave prints, Tom said it never crossed his mind to look for tracks at the time, but there wouldn't have been any anyway, it was mainly all grassland.
Where we live now in NYC, I haven't heard of any stories about bigfoots in the area, if I ever do I will let you know.
