I was hunting and did not have a measuring tape I were a 11 &1/2 it was about 3 inches longer than my foot and about twice as wide I'd guess 15 to 16 long around 6 to 7 wide...
Next to a heavy used game trail that was dry water runs off on one side of the trail after rain causing about a 2 foot wide path of moisture in dirt the rest is like concrete. So u less the stride is less than 2ft it would be 1 print. There were spots in the dry where you could see out lines but no definition.

So there's a Canyon just past mink creek called immigration Canyon. There's a road that cuts back and goes East Side of the highway called xxxx xxxxxx road. I hunt back up there fairly regularly in a place they call the xxxx xxxxx xxxxxx..
Me and my brother a brother have had a couple encounters back there. And also some other odd things happen.

There have been some crazy bigfoot encounters near that spot.

The trail is close to the xxx xxxxx it's a game trail not marked we found one track that was pictured pressed into the soft dirt where it was somewhat wet still from the shade then found imprints without as much detail about every 6ft in the brush.

A couple of guys got charged by a bigfoot back in there with thier hunting dogs.. Scared the crap out of thier dogs & they fired shots to get it to leave
A cop got stuck back in there & stayed the night and had a bigfoot come up to his truck and sniff the ground a few feet away where the cop had been peeing during the night.. The bigfoot peed right over his spot...
Lower on the mountain near Camp Barlett some weekend warriors on drill had an encounter

I have had 2 where I have actually seen bigfoot and 3 other occurrences where I have seen one and have felt like he was very aggressive.

It would have been 3 days prior to the photo in a different Canyon one Canyon over.
So we had hiked back in to something timber. And posted up on top of a knowl where you could see about 180 degrees and started spotting for deer. We had been seeing a few does and were quietly talking.
Out of no where we heard a whoop type of sound down below us. We were caught off guard by the noise but didnt think much about it. We got back to spotting for deer and my brother said to look toward the center of the valley about 500 to 600 yards in front of us. There was a silvery orb floating, moving back and forth slowly then would stop for a min then would start to move slowly down again until it landed in the trees where we lost sight of it.
I made the comment that the woot that we heard earlier was bigfoot more so just teasing my brother about it not truly believing it. So he in fun made a really loud whoop sound that echoed the valley and almost instantly below us again the whoop answered back.
Scared the crap out of us so we got our stuff packed as fast as possible and started to leave then we heard a loud crash off to the side of us...tree falling? So we started to push through the brush and got to a clearing.
On the way back to the four wheeler we had left and as soon as we stepped into the clearing maybe 20 yards across on the other side a big figure was standing there buck brush up to his knees. It just looked at us. It looked irritated that we were there. We both had pistols in our hands just in case it came at us.
Then another crash on our left side we both looked and when we turned back it was gone.
We ran as fast as we could back to the wheeler a mile or so away
And left, havent been back up there since.

Track was a mile apart from sighting I would guess 8 1/2ft tall maybe a bit more... buck brush was up to his knees and close to chest height on us.
He was super thick hard to say I'm not the best guesser but from judging elk I'd say
475 to 550ish sounds crazy when I say that

Amazing right in the area some very aggressive encounters have took place in the past too.
We do look around sighting report areas if they happen in a place with a history of them.. Cant get to each and every one.. But do know the bigfoot you saw & possibly his traveling companion start heading south through the Bear River Mountain Range & into the Wasatch Mountain Range this time every year.. We track their movements with sighting reports & the tracks they leave behind.
2020 one of the two was filmed in the Sink
We tracked them to Beaver Mountain.. Then they were spotted in Franklin Basin. Then 4 weeks later a guy came face to face with both of them on Monte Cristo
As rare as these creatures are.. I do believe they are the same ones that keep getting spotted and encountered there
Trying to figure out what one of the two you saw.. What color was he? Was he balding on his head or not?

He was very dark in color but almost looked like he had a red tint to him as well....not sure what color youd call it, a dark reddish brown I'd guess. Hair seemed thin on the arms but main body seemed thicker. If I had to guess I'd say male had definit chest definition.
Head didnt look way thin. Face was bare but was framed in pretty good. Never saw back of its head.

A person that saw one about same height south of there, said it had a pissed off look on its face..
Another person that saw one November of last year south of yours also said it had a serious look to its face and never changed face expression the whole time.

The guy that came face to face with two of them on Monta Cristo.. Stated both male.. Both around 8'6 and one was dark brown or black with graying.. It was thick around the waist and was balding on the head.. The one that it was with was dark brown close to black and had a thinner waist and better shape as if younger.. The older one stepped in front of the younger one as if in protection putting itelf between the witness & it..
The witness had a sidearm drawn although did not point it at the creatures.. The way the encounter ended.. Seems they know what he had in his hand.

Those two that travel together.. One leaves a track around 14 to 15 in length.. The other is a little bigger 16 to 17 inch in length..
The way your sighting ended sounded like you had two there but just saw the one.

I know a lot of amateur researchers that would try to write these off because they are not at full stride & in a straight line.. However after years of tracking these creatures. They do not spend theirs lives walking at a brisk full stride.
When they have to cross clearings or other obstacles that will leave them exposed, they will square off like this from cover or a place they feel comfortable and observe the area for threats before continuing on..
Did anyone ever get a look at the creature?

He said something was after his rabbits. About 3 am the animals sounded off. After the second morning of hearing these noises he found those tracks in the snow on the pavement and got these Polaroid photos. They didn’t get a look at what ever it was they left the tracks, but it scared the bejesus out of them.
His place was out by the mountain with no neighbors close by. He has since passed. The rest of the family will never forget.

Were they able to measure the tracks length or width? Or estimate the size compared to their own shoe size?

Hi- I wish he would have thought of a size comparison. “Big” is all they indicated. The only reference I could attribute would be the size of the matrix in the pavement.
The swipe in the snow to the right lower has me wonder of a possible hand swipe?

Tracking Bigfoot in the snow we have seen where they swipe the snow with their feet from outside to inside... Have also seen where they put a hand or knuckles onto the ground while going slow & sneaky..
This one was being sneaky it sounds like. Coming onto a ranch of animals with people nearby in the ranch house, hoping to snatch a rabbit or more.. He more than likely was crouched low with his big hands swiping the ground..
I owned a couple of Polaroid cameras while growing up for when I wanted an instant photo. For most photography I used a 35mm camera. So I am familiar with the one focus shot you get with a Polaroid... These appear huge in length and width... And have nice bigfoot shape dimensions..
I would like to point out the famous Mink Creek Bigfoot video that was all over the national news filmed in March of 2012 is less than 50 miles northwest of your uncles ranch. We spend a lot of time in the beautiful state of Idaho investigating old and new Bigfoot sighting reports along with videos of the elusive creature. Its a Sasquatch sighting spot with a long healthy history of reports encounters & sightings.

Good morning- This is Greg A. regarding the Oxford Idaho Bigfoot on my uncles ranch. My cousin has mentioned that the tracks were about 3 feet long, so huge. Also, my Aunt who saw the Garland Ut. Bigfoot in the early 80’s mentioned that it completely covered the stop sign in front of her and reminded her of a dead cow. It smelt awful. She also mentioned seeing orbs. I have some correspondence with her on my phone. She now has dementia tho and living in Ogden. Anyway, these things are huge.

Titled - Human Monster in Southern Idaho Salt Lake, Utah, Jan 27.
The Deseret News tonight prints the following special correspondence from Pocatello:
"A Letter from Chesterfield, Ida., January 14, contains a startling rumor of having been visited by an eight-foot all-hair covered human monster, while a party of young people were skating on Potneuf river in the field of John Gooch.
The creature showed fight, and flourished a large stick and giving vent to a series of yells attacked the skaters, but in being slow of movement, they re-gained their wagons and got away in safety.
"The beast was at least eight feet high, covered with long reddish brown hair, the face was hidden by immense bushy whiskers and no part of naked skin was to be seen except a small spot above the eyes.
"Measurements the following morning showed the tracks to measure 22 inches long by seven broad, with imprint of only four toes. The stockmen report having seen similar tracks along the range west of the river.
When last seen the monster was trekking westward.
The people feeling unsafe while beast is at large, have sent 20 men on its trail to effect its capture.

So... let me set the stage...
Camping in yellowpine Idaho... 1998ish...
3 famlies... about 25 people... chinok salmon were running thick this year... at least 3 per foot of surface on the river...
My husband and I arrived late... decided to sleep in the bed of truck til daylight when we pitch our tent...
As we bed down, neck a bit... we doze off.. out of a died sleep I wake up to a blood scream...like a cross between a baby, young child and a murder...
As I peeked over the side of the truck bed, I am frozen watching what I then thought was a bear... I flashed my maglight his way...
As I watched, trying to catch my breath, he continued to slip one hand in the river, grab a fish, switch hands and throw the fish just caught on the shore... He repeated this for what seemed to be forever... I woke my husband up and he too thought it was a bear...
We went to the same area the next day... it was probably 100 yards away from camp, only to find a pile of mostly eaten fish... all but the heads n bones were gone...
After years of thinking about it...I believe he was a swatch... the size he was...the way he moved fish from one hand to another... didnt use his mouth to catch the fish like you see in the majestic photos of bears catching fish...
His body was more upright and each movement was made with purpose... we had a weeks worth of food for 25 people in camp... and he never entered camp to make mischief... I never thought to look for foot prints but over the years have seen swatch huts in the general area...
So, what do you think... did I see a swatch or what... ready go...

Agree with you. Bear don't grab fish with their hands, they use teeth to catch fish. Or hold them down with paws while they tear the fish apart. During the salmon run they will eat the brain and fat of the fish 1st and move on to the next fish when catching is good.
Leaving the head on every fish would be unusual for a bear.
I was hunting high up in the Bitterroot mountain range on the Idaho side with my Father in Law and had found an area where there was a forested draw where we could see that the Elk liked to lay up out of the sun.
We figured it could be a nighttime sleeping area. We devised a plan where I would hike up to the ridge overseeing the draw and as the sun barely started to show I would slowly low crawl down the side of the ravine and try to spook the Elk to head up the ravine where my Father in Law was waiting.
I started low crawling very slowly and silently down the side of this ridge, head first, terrified I might bump into a cougar, which are everywhere up there. The grass was very wet with dew and I was soon soaked as I approached the bottom. I must have made a noise or got winded by the rising air because suddenly I heard a heavy thumping of something running up the draw right in front of me that I could tell was not four-legged, and it was alone.
A minute later I was at the bottom and the sun was brightening and I looked at the ground and didn't see any Elk tracks anywhere. I thought maybe a bear, but no bear tracks. It was still too dark to really make out anything distinct so I waited a bit until I could see. As things brightened up I noticed that something with a long gate had run up the ravine, but the ground was hard from all the Elk traffic that had beat the dirt down hard, so I couldn't make out what it was at first. I started tracking up the ravine and in the distance about 50 yards I could see where whatever it was had cut up the hill because the dew was freshly disturbed and I could make out a dark path of grass with no dew heading up the hill.
When I got to the path it only took me a step or two to see big huge bipedal footprints with distinct toe outlines digging into the side of the hill and mud coming out around the toes as it raced up the ravine away from me. By the size of the prints it wasn't a full grown one, but maybe a young adult or juvenile. Putting my size 10 boot next to it was nearly double my length. When I realized that I had slowly crept up on a Bigfoot it left me a bit unnerved. I wasn't forty feet from it when it bolted.

Twice the size of a size 10 boot sounds huge. It was more than likely an adult Sasquatch.

Hello, Nice to meet you. I'm Jessica. I'm a mother of 6 and the wife of my highschool sweetheart for 15 years.
When I was 12, just before my 13th birthday, my family moved to North Idaho (from near Boise). I have seen and heard various possible and probable bigfoot related things once in a while since then. Many of them I had mentally filed away in the "pretend it didn't happen" drawer as too weird to actually deal with at the time, but I've been able to think about them more rationally now as an adult in my mid-thirties and I realize that many of these memories fit together if I leave my mind open to the possibility that there is some sort of large undocumented ape species out there. I still feel very uncomfortable with sharing my stories but I *want* to be able to share them, if that makes sense. Anyway, nice to meet you. Thanks for letting me join.
My family moved to a mountain overlooking the Dworshak Reservoir on the Orofino side. In retrospect, I think, odd as it sounds, a family group lived on the mountain peak across the dirt road from us. I saw them once, meandering up their mountain like they were out for a Sunday walk. Almost every experience I had connects to that mountain top and to the two main draws coming down from that mountain top. My experiences there happened between 1996 and 2003 and range from simply feeling watched/uneasy to the aforementioned sighting. I'm not a Bigfoot expert in the least so I'd rather just tell my experiences exactly as they happened and leave it up to the reader to decide if they think it was really Bigfoot related or not, rather than act like I know for sure. Should I tell my experiences here in this post or is there a better way?
Okay first strange incident was in Spring of 2006. I was 13, my sister was 9 or 10 and my brother was 7. We hadn't really explored much yet because we moved in the week before Thanksgiving and those who were in the Orofino area that winter knew it snowed 3 feet Thanksgiving week and then there were bad mud slides and flooding- rough winter. So coming from Boise area and not being used to so much snow yet, us kids pretty much kept to the yard and driveway until spring. When things were pretty much thawed out and it was just rainy, that's when we finally got to explore a bit. We weren't afraid of the woods because we'd had several acres at our previous house with trees and water and had spent our days watching foxes and beavers and herons and digging caves and fishing... we were wild at heart so we looked forward to exploring the woods.
Imagine for simplicity's sake, the road is curved like an s with an extra bump, so maybe like a very rounded M. Imagine my family's 5 acres was in the right bump of the M and across the road uphill from us (from the center of the M upward) was the top of the mountain we were on. We called that mountain top something like "Mr. N's Knob/hill" because it was owned by our next door neighbor to the right who owned several hundred acres around us. That hill was strange, like an optical illusion, because it was so much bigger and more rounded than it appeared, so no matter how far up it you climbed, you always felt like you still had the same amount of hill left to climb before you would reach the top. It looked so small and easy to climb from our house but it was just that it was so nicely rounded that you couldn't actually see all the way up it, making it look smaller. The hill itself was mostly bald on the side that faced us, and we would come to find out eventually that the treeline on the far side was, by contrast, almost all the way at the top. There were 2 main draws that drained off that mountain, and you could imagine the draws crossing the road approximately at the peaks of the bumps of the M. At the bottom of the draw on the right of our imaginary M, (which went along the East edge of our property,) it flattened out where it ran into an old logging road that connected our back pasture to the pasture behind Mr. N's house. My parents used that short cut to visit him, and he us, several times.
Halfway between the logging road and the main road, my siblings and I were playing. The first day we were playing there it was raining but the tree canopy overhead was thick enough to keep us mostly dry. I don't remember noticing much for sounds, aside from the rain. We were noticing trilium coming up all around there and admiring them. After the first day, we noticed something was making a sound just out of sight like tapping rocks together 5 or 6 times in a row. It would come from one way, then a little farther off and in a different direction, always from heavy timber with lots of underbrush. I don't know how many days we played there, but each day we would get a little further up the draw toward where it crossed the road. I remember going out one day that week and feeling uneasy because we kept hearing loud stick breaking sounds from the heavy brush near the fence. As we meandered up the draw toward the last place we'd played, there was a tree that had been as big around as a human arm that was freshly broken and bent into an arch or doorway shape. Next to it was a trilium we'd admired the day before stomped flat into the pine needles. Just past the "doorway" was a fallen rotten long we'd sat on, and that morning it had rocks sitting on it. My memory is rather fuzzy so I don't recall for sure how many rocks but I believe there were 3, and I also don't recall whether the tree was twisted or just snapped, only that it was broken somehow in 2 places but the bark still held it together enough that it was shaped like a doorway. I remember accusing my siblings of coming up here without me and putting rocks on the log and stomping the flower, but they denied it. I had a distinct feeling that the "doorway" and rocks were some sort of message. In the back of my mind I imagined I was a explorer and saw this, and that it was a symbol that this area was a "door" to another tribe's territory. Then I couldn't get that feeling out of my head that we weren't supposed to go past this "door" and the rock markers, so I made us play below that from then on, for at least a year, and don't remember hearing the stick cracking sounds when we played there anymore, just the occasional rock taps
So that was the first thing that happened, about 5 +/- months after moving there, which was unexplained by known causes. I did ask my dad about the rock taps and he said maybe a woodpecker or squirrel, but I never felt quite satisfied with that explanation because the rock taps were always so uniform and sounded like rocks being banged together, not like a woodpecker or squirrel cracking a nut. I asked him about the rocks on the log and the broken tree too, and he said he hadn't been up there recently but it was probably just wind damage and sibling pranks. I felt like that wasn't quite plausible since the broken tree was right next to a big tree in the well sheltered understory and it was the only visible damage. It has nagged at me as strange ever since. I have lots more similarly odd stories, but this is the only one with rocks on top of things and trees broken into doorway shapes.
My mom, who passed away in 2011, actually SAW them with me, and she was with me when I saw what I think was their house too, but she was really strange about it. It was like she couldn't actually look at them for some reason. Like her mind wouldn't accept it, so she looked away as soon as she laid eyes on them and made up an excuse to explain it away and refused to look again or allow me to talk about it.
My dad is still living there, and he's always been pretty open minded about cryptids. He met a fellow whom he said sounded quite intelligent and sound minded who had run into one face to face once and had no doubt what he'd seen was a Bigfoot, so my dad always felt like, while he wouldn't say that they exist, he wouldn't say they didn't either. Unfortunately I think the Bigfoots were drawn to my siblings and I as children playing, and didn't care much about Dad out mending fences and whatnot. It seemed to me that they weren't interested in bothering Dad, and he didn't pay much attention to rock and wood sounds so unless they threw something right at him or chased him, I doubt he'd have ever realized they were there. I was one of those head in the clouds romantic fool teen girls always dreaming up some epic adventure in my head, but I was also a severe introvert and empath so I could sense moods and presences that nobody else I knew could, when I wasn't distracted by my own daydreaming. Nobody could sneak up on me ever as a kid because I could just sense them coming. Nobody could lie to me about their emotions either because I could always tell. It's possible that these traits that were so annoying to my family were part of why I noticed and remembered weird things that others didn't. Even my sister has basically the same stories as mine but she doesn't remember most of the weird things as being weird. She didn't think it was weird that the tree was broken or the log had rocks on it. Same with my dad. He still lives there but it would take a lot for him to say something was "weird." He could think he saw a Bigfoot walking through the trees but unless he had a picture to prove it to himself he'd likely chalk it up to tired eyes or hunger and head in for a snack and a nap and never think of it again.
Also unfortunate is that there have been at least half a dozen new homes built right around that area since my last encounter, so I'd be surprised if the Bigfoots (if that's really what they were) are still living there. I suppose it's possible, but if I were a Bigfoot I'd have vacated long ago and went somewhere a little less people-y.
HOWEVER, my dad, when I pressed him about it, did remember one time either shortly before my mom died or shortly after, when he went out to do farm chores after dark. The black lab went with him as usual, but instead of her usual random barking and sniffing, she stopped stock still with her hackles up, staring into the night-black woods. She stayed frozen like that for a bit and then suddenly bolted for the house like Satan was after her. My dad said he looked and looked but all he could see was darkness. He said the way the dog behaved made him wish he'd brought a gun out with him. That was the only time he can recall anything strange or creepy happening that stuck with him. The animals pens he was out feeding are at the base of the hill that about 30 feet up that hill was that broken tree and log with rocks on it from my first story. The trees are thick enough behind the animal shelters that you can't see a thing through them when it's dark out.
I'm surprised that my father in law, who worked as a logger most of his life until the mill shut down, then worked for the county road department, and has been an avid hunter and camper all his life, claims to have never seen anything. I would think if anyone would have seen something strange, even if it wasn't a Bigfoot-sort-of-strange, in all his years in the woods and on dark mountain roads, it would be him. But he claims to have never had any odd experiences at all.
