Richard Richardson writes, I had an encounter with Bigfoot when I was 10
yrs old, I was face to face about 6ft away from it. I've never forgot my
experience and I'm 70 yrs old. I can remember it like it was yesterday. It was
back in the 60s and there was not much news about Bigfoot. I was visiting my
cousin who lived on the South side of Amarillo, TX.
Me and my cousin were sleeping in the back yard in a large army
tent. We had just fell asleep and it had been raining a little but not
much. First thing we heard a sound like a big bulldog at a distance. As it
got closer coming up the back alley, the sound it made was a Baa- ouh sound. The
dogs were raising he'll, then after a while they acted as something was scaring
them or hurting them as they yelped away. Then it worked its way right up
behind us.
The sound it made was as loud as a huge animal, like an elephant
growling, and it roared like a large lion. It was enough to cause me and my cousin
to go under cover and shiver waiting to see what this was. Then we
heard it enter the back yard and it made load stomping sounds and as it went by
the tent. It started around towards the back of the tent, that's when we jumped
up, like little rascals. Ran out the tent and into the back door of my cousin’s
house.
We woke my cousin’s big brother and he got a flashlight and shined it in
the backyard and whatever it was left. Never been this scared in my life.
Now part 2 of this story, a week later. We were playing kick the can, we
ran and hid. Well, me and my cousin, Amen were running from the front yard
towards the back, and there it stood. I was about 6 feet away from
it and got a good look. The thing was around 8 foot tall, and did not show any
facial features. All I could see was a smelly blob, it had blobs all over it. I
couldn't tell if it was hair or what? I was stunned when I saw it, and couldn't
move for several minutes trying to figure what this creature was.
It was like no other creature I had ever seen in my life and will
never forget. But to make the story short, we broke loose, turned and ran into
the front of the house and told the grownups. They came out and it was gone.
True Story. Never would lie about this.

Amazing experience and six feet away. My life long child hood friend had
one walk past him by just a few feet when he as around 11 years old. I found
the tracks of the creature the next day in the mud and ice. Thought it was a
crazy giant man walking around bare foot in the winter time. Then after hearing
about my friends up close sighting the night before just a couple of miles
away. I realized I saw bigfoot tracks in the mud and ice.
Me and my buddies went camping one summer for a
couple days with Sean and Greg. We are at the base of Mount Mad. Just to
the left of it, bar trail will go up a couple of zigzags and then there's a
slight trail that goes down, off of our trail and you'll see a little watering
like pond breaking up the boulders and trickling down into it. We camped
there that night and let the campfire die down.
I woke up and there is a huge man silhouetted-like thing standing over
and it was stirring the fire up a little bit more. I woke my two buddies
up and he could tell it was a furry animal because of the silhouette. You know
it wasn't a human in clothing and as soon as I woke them up, they made sound.
The creature stirring our campfire, turned and then the next thing I know
we're all sitting up at the back of the tent, but it's now morning and it has
been a couple hours, so something sure startled the crap out of us to where we
all passed out. The next morning my buddy Sean didn't want to leave the
tent. We got up and left the tent. He moved to Harlem New York where his mother
lived because he didn't want to be in the mountains any longer.

Camper awakes to Bigfoot

I'm from Missouri and I've seen a Bigfoot while I was deer hunting.
I was a deer hunting and I saw this big black hairy thing walk up
and he was standing in between some bushes and pine trees and looking around.
Then he walked up this logging road that we have, that we deer
hunt. And I was sitting in my deer stand, when he walked up he's about 40 yards
from me and saw me grunted at me through Rock at me.
I picked up my rifle and pointed at him and looked at the scope and
he looked just amazing.
He turned and grunted and ran. I watched him and he stepped over a
fence and disappeared.
I've seen him periodically and my friend that lives down there
permanently, he sees him quite often. Next time I'm down there I'm going
to video tape it so I can send it to you all.
I believe there's Bigfoot cuz I saw what I saw it looked similar to a
human with the black furry coat on and it was at least 9 ft tall it was huge

I have been working on a project in the Monte Cristo area at the Hideout
the top of scare canyon the last few months.
Thursday night about dark something was watching me dig. I
couldn't tell what it was and I didn't see it leave the sagebrush. We shut down
the track-hoe and after awhile of silence we saw it bounce back and forth like
it was playing with us
We ran to the truck and started it and took off, it ran across the
sagebrush along side of us then it took off into the cliff side above
porcupine reservoir.
It was not any bigger than us...I have been in the
mountains all my life that was enough for me..haha but I got to go
back up to finish the work tomorrow we will be looking for the tracks to make
sure we are all there.

Hi Trent, thanks for letting us know.. We found a couple dozen bigfoot
tracks near McKinnon Peak Wednesday. They were near powerline easements, so
they were probably traveling to lower elevation when they made them.. 16 inch
long and around 8 at the toes.
Appreciate hearing about your experience. I google measured from the
tracks we found on Wednesday location to approximately where you had your deal
is 10 miles strait line. And the tracks I found had been wind swept a little so
they were probably made on Tuesday. Plenty of time for it to travel to where
you had your deal. Tracks were headed that direction too.

Hello!
We were north of Silver City NM and North of Piños
Altos…exactly at the Arrastra Interpretive Site <https://www.fs.usda.gov/r03/gila/recreation/arrastra-interpretive-site>
exactly at 32.881637, -108.225440. Parked below, we walked up
to the actual historic site for a night shoot. My husband is a
photographer and uses theatrical gels over powerful lights to illuminate his
settings after night falls. They are long exposures and we use the lights
to “paint” the landscape.
Earlier we’d driven past a homestead
(at 32.880200, -108.223661). As we were working, all of a sudden we
heard a really loud whoooooo. At the time, my husband said "Oh, that must
be the homesteader calling in his cows with a conch shell." I
said “What? No way!” My hair was standing up on my arms.
We were about 200 yds from our truck and I became hyper aware of the
potential of something watching us. I kept track of the direction from which
the howl was coming from. AT least for a full ten minutes. It didn’t
move, but it totally freaked me out, so we did go back and drove just a tad
until we were off the dirt. Parked again when we reached pavement and continued
to take photos. Did not hear it again.
Quite honestly, when I heard the
soundtrack from your footage: https://youtu.be/zre29JW3-Tk It sounded exactly like
that. But just one being was making the sound. I just know we were
hearing a bigfoot, perhaps we have the Mogollon sasquatch. (By the way it
is pronounced Mogeeyon.) I think it was not happy that we
were shining colored lights across from ridge to ridge. Yikes!
We were believers before, but now we realize we’ve actually
heard one!

Looks like the one I saw in the 60s. More caveman, huge, not
a monkey.
Glacier National Park around 1965, my mom and dad camped in
the park grounds. I always hung around the bathrooms to meet other kids. I met
up with another girl and we walked back to edge of camp to sneak smoke
cigarettes.
A big lumber company had
been there with logs stacked two stories high, we sat on a bottom log and soon
after that a large hairy hand swiped across the top of our heads, screaming
loudly. We looked up and saw a very angry caveman. It was huge and loud, like a
freight train loud and was trying to grab us from above.
We screamed and ran
so fast it was like we were lightning bolts, putting smokes out while running.
Other campers came running towards us and an old guy said he saw a big hairy man
walking up there. My dad packed the trailer and told me it was a grizzly bear
and not to worry about, but I never felt safe on our trips ever again and
always hung around camp and still do.
It looked like he had mange, and loss of hair on its chest
down the arms with thin long hair, light red with big square teeth no big
canine's.
