Thank you for everything you do with the bigfoot community, I have been a believer since I was young and saw some thing I couldn't really explain... In hindsight I know what it was...
So I was in St cloud Florida, narcoosee rd area, late 80's, My aunt's large pit bull had come home injured. And we thought it was a panther or a bear. But this Dog It was no Pushover.
Couple of days later I go out with my bb gun. I had never gone that far, and I reached a clearing. It was about 40 to 50 yds to the other tree line. Pretty much waist to chest high light brown wispy grass between me and the other tree line.
I stepped out of the tree line, and saw a large black human figure. Twice as tall as the grass, and I locked eyes with it and thought it was the Grim Reaper... but no scythe... Frozen in fear, about 10 seconds went by and it squatted down... Still taller than the grass but blended in well with the tree line just behind it... I still couldn't move...
It then made a low growly sound that I felt. It was loud and it came from right there, I finally bolted into the tree line. I stopped about 10' in and looked back, and it got up and took 2 or 3 steps And vanished...
I tried to tell my aunt and my mom what I saw and they said it was just a bear. But in hindsight, we were 40 miles away from any major city, and I really think I saw one... There was a Large drainage canal which is still there that runs East to West, Back then there was nothing until I 95... But I have never been that scared since.... True story! Respect

Twice as tall as the grass. How tall would that make this creature?
You said it was black. Could you see hair or fur or anything?
When you locked eyes with it. Can you describe the face and eyes please?

The grass on my body was chest high, And The way The shoulder and head were was hard to see detail, but it was really wide, I thought it was like a cloak or something, but the Eyes, I Was staring where I thought that They would be, And it Turned its head slightly and I saw them and they were about the size of tennis balls so it seemed... Then it squatted, But it was at least 8-9ft high, and Frozen in fear, then it let loose a growling noise...
The head and shoulders was hairy but kinda blended around the eyes nose. The chin was almost shiny without hair, some visible protruding cheek bones, with the tennis ball size eyes... it's burned into my brain

Tickets are all day in and out entry but don’t miss the end segments as we bring back the full panel of speakers on stage for an interactive Q&A along with a segment of encounters from the audience.

In Face of Armed Officer from 10 Feet Away

Years ago I worked as a Armed patrol officer for a local security company in Jacksonville, Fl. I had my normal duties to check on the other security officers that worked in my area. Well to make a very long story shorter. I made a Class A report to the BFRO website. This was back in the late 80's and 90's. I work in Duval county and you can read the two reports. People involved were M.L and S.G. and M.C.
All I can say is that this bigfoot was kinda amazed. Yes he roared out twice, and he was only about 10 feet in front of me. Now about myself, I stand at 7 foot 3 inches tall and wear a size 18 1/2 shoe. At work I wore a size 19 work boot.
Maybe that's why he was amazed, almost looking eye to eye. He was about 8 foot tall, very hairy and stinked alot. Worse then a dirt diaper. He had bright red eyes, huge feet and hands. But he was not mean at all.
After he ran off, there was a little one in the treeline. Both of us were standing in a area that was just cleared off. A construction site in the woods, but still in the city limits. Feel free to go to the BFRO website and read the two reports. To this day, if I'm watching a Bigfoot video and hear that scream that he made, my hairs on my back stand straight up.
This one was not mean at all, even though I had my hand on my Glock the whole time. I also saw him in other areas of my patrol area. Now all those areas all have buildings or homes standing. We need to stop building and leave room for all the animals out there, they need a area away from us.
Back in 1977 I was joking the AT trail. There were couple of guys who at every shelter would do some tree knocking. And they got alot of answers back. They used a small baseball bat and hit the tree 3 to 5 times. And then waited for a answer. Sometimes they got one. Met them in Georgia and left them in middle Pa.

Just stand in a standard door frame. Then look up, I have to duck to get thru. Except in hospitals. There door frames are taller only for the IV poles. It used to be a pain in the ass being so tall, for buying clothes, but Walmart is changing that. For sneakers and boots I go to www.2bigfeet.com
