 I seen a bigfoot about two years ago here on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana

Tried getting a video but it wouldn't focus, but we did get a few pics.

 It was end of August 2 years ago i cant remember the date it was towards evening time

In August 2021. Me and my girlfriend were out in the Rocky Mountains here on the Blackfeet reservation, just out cruising around and enjoying the scenery. 

 As we were going up my girlfriend kept on spotting bears, she must have spotted at least 4 to 5 grizzlies as we were making our way up top to drop down in a canyon. As we started down into the canyon on the other side of the mountain top we saw some local gentlemen that were getting wood for the winter months that were coming up. 

 I stopped and started visiting the men and one was cutting wood and the other was standing very close to the vehicle they were in. As I got off the vehicle I was driving I started visiting them and the gentleman that was cutting wood was telling me how his partner was afraid to move away from the truck because of the weird eerie noises they were hearing at the bottom of the canyon. They were describing the sounds of growling, grunting noises and that it didn't sound like any animal they knew of. 

 I laughed it off and continued my drive and as we were coming back out of the canyon my gf thought she seen another bear and then screamed "OOOH SHIT ITS WALKING LIKE A MAN" and i said what? And stopped the vehicle to see what she was witnessing and sure enough it was.

 I gave her my cell phone to try and record a video and it wouldn't focus for us, so we started taking pics and im one of them believers i have to see it for myself to believe it. It was definitely something to see and the pics tell many stories and have been told many stories from our elder people passing on stories of that area having to be known to see those things and all my life i have lived there and travelled that area over and over i have never witness that until i seen it.

Hi my name is Les J B,

 I'm from Missoula Montana I'm 52 years old.  At the age of 13 I did see a bigfoot up blue mountain from a distance and it was strange. I was playing on a hill side, running up and down the hill, I stopped because it felt like someone or something was watching me. I looked around & couldnt see anything at first, then saw it a little further away. When I spotted the bigfoot it started walking away with his head down like he was sad.

Hi Les, maybe he was sad because he got spotted. Were you able to estimate the height and or width of the creature? What color was it?

I would say he was about 6 maybe 7 feet tall, he had Reddish brown hair.

I wish I could have gotten closer, nice thing about it, I wasn't Afraid of him.

About 300 maybe 400 Hundred yards.

If I went back up to the spot I would like to find away to climb up to where I saw him.

It was June or July during the late afternoon around 2:30 pm or 3 pm.

 Hi Jayson, thank you for the email. Was able to look at it closer. What length was the track. Do you know what the width was at the widest part of the tracks up at the toes?

The length was 16.1 and the width was 7.2

Bigfoot tracks have the toes inside the track. Bear have the toes outside the track. This is more consistent with bear, however I do not see claw marks or dimples of the tips of the claws. And Over 16 inches is longer than most bear hind tracks.

Well it is interesting, very well could be a sasquatch because there is not claws.

Were you able to estimate the height and width... Could you determine it's color or see it's face and eyes?

 About twelve years ago at like 7:00 am on Hwy 93 heading south bound towards Whitefish by Dickey Lake south side, right near Hwy weather station, this is about fifteen miles south of Fortine, he was coming from Mt. Marston.

 It's color was like Patterson's, arm swing all identical . Height probably 7 feet. Had to be four hundred lbs. My friend who was 6 foot six, this creature was bigger but differently, better shape.

 Had to really say he didn’t look at me until he was just to edge of payment, but he looked me right in the eyes, early day light. The face some what shadowed it was mid June.

The shoulders were very broad, that is why I like and believe Patterson.

 I'm sorry if I don't have a photo of this incident, but I really wanted to tell this story because it still makes me cry to this day and i  still have nightmares, I'll go by Bruno B.

 I'm brazilian and 21 years old.

 In 2017 i came to the USA to visit my uncle who died in 2021, he lived in Seeley Lake/Montana.

I had arrived at the Kalispell airport where my uncle was there to pick me up. We traveled from there to Bigfork and from there we were going to Seeley Lake where he lived.

 It was a long road and we stopped in a road which had some grass and then some dense forest, it was around 2 to 3 pm we both got out of the car to go take a piss in some bushes. After we did & were returning to the car, when i noticed something strange moving in the other side of the road. 

 I said to my uncle "you saw that?" he said "yes" we approached the other side of the road and there was something pitch black crouching in some bushes close to the dense forest about 5 yards from the road.

 I thought it was a person in some costume trying to scare us, and then comes the part that I regretted doing to this day. 

 I screamed at the thing "HEY QUIT WITH THE BULLSHIT" then the thing stood on its two legs, it was about ft 6'2. It had arms as long as its legs and we could see the face now. It resembled a person, with a human like nose, but its jaw was very wide and its forehead was big like those Neanderthals'. Its head didn't have much fur, but its body was covered in pitch black fur. The thing stood up on two legs and started to scream at us with a guttural voice that I can't describe "Breaaaah" "Paaah" "Bleaaaahhhh" we were scared now. 

 As we were going to the car my uncle stopped and looked at it again, and now I saw, behind this thing. There was another one, this one was the one that still gives me nightmares. It was much bigger than the 1st one it was like 11 to 12 foot tall. It was grey and had very long fur head to toe. It had a very long fur on its face, like a very long beard. 

 It was the biggest, scariest thing I've ever seen. He approached the smaller one and put his hand on its shoulder. The small one looked at him and they strided slowly back to the dense forest. At this point my uncle and I ran back to the car and he drove fast to Seeley lake. 

 I never told this story to anybody because I thought people would ridicule me here in my home country, and at this age I didn't know about Bigfoot or anything like that because I'm not American and the only witness of this was my uncle who is now deceased.

 But now after I searched for giant humanoids, I came across the bigfoot thing. And what I watched in documentaries and then saw the leg and arm measuring that ThinkerThunker does on his YouTube channel along with other bigfoot videos I've watched. Like the Patterson Gimlin film, I'm convinced those two things I saw were certainly bigfoots. And that scares the hell out of me, I get scared of walking in any woods now, even outside of America.

 It was a 1999 I was riding up the West Fork of the Bitterroot huge creek road going up Lookout.

 I was on Malloy Creek heading down just before dark. I would say about 25 minutes of shooting light left.  

 I was on the back of the four wheeler with a friend as we were heading back down the mountain and the subject was about 7 to 8 feet tall with reddish dreadlocks hair. It ran with us about 35 yards away on the down side of the mountain. 

 Both looked at each other and said that was not a bear, we were running about 25 miles an hour down the mountain, trying to make it down to another area to the glass real quick to spot bears before dark. This animal ran into the trees on two legs and like I said it was only about 35 to 40 yards away.

 How were you able to determine its speed 25MPH?

It ran along side us and we were going approximately 20 to 25 miles an hour on the four wheeler.

Appreciate all of the detials.. We have been on Malloy Creek and have been up to that look out too. Searching for a Bigfoot that was recently saw crossing near Chief Joseph trail head. 

 We spent an evening glassing rivers, roads, creeks, clearings, tree lines and mountain ridges for a few hours up there....  Cool area.. Thanks again for your bigfoot sighting report.

 I live in NW MT and I had an encounter with a large male Bigfoot in 2016. He threw a rock at me while I was bow hunting in September. I was hunting by myself and I was a couple miles from my truck that was parked behind a gated road. 

 I was standing on a ledge overlooking an overgrown clear-cut. The rather large rock landed at my feet. I looked around to see if someone threw the rock at me. I saw nothing. All was quiet. No birds or squirrel noises. 

 I heard a whistle and looked in the direction it came from. There was a huge creature standing between 2 trees and he was was shaking the trees in the clearing about 75 yards away from me. 

 I have been in the woods and hunted for most of my life. This was not a bear or a moose. I took an elk trail to get get off that mountain as fast as I could, but the elk trail was close to some dark timber where you couldn't see very far.

 I heard growling and huffing coming from the dark overgrown timber. I thought that was impossible since the Bigfoot I saw was on my right side and the timber was on my left. I was in between a family!

 They let me leave, but to this day, I believe that is their home. I have cast a footprint from the female and every time I go back and give them something to eat. They always leave a gift in return.  They are definitely territorial, but not dangerous.

Were you able to estimate the height of the one you saw? Could you tell what color it was? Do you recall seeing the face or eyes?

 I estimate his height at 8 feet. He was too far away to see eye color or facial features. He was all black and his hair was shiny.  It was a sunny morning and he looked like he had been in water recently.

 I know it was a male because of the way he acted. Territorial, but he could have killed me with that rock he threw. It was a clear warning. I have not been back in there by myself since, but they are still there. I cast a footprint in the mud by a spring a couple years ago. There were 2 prints. One was very small in comparison. Maybe a young one. I made a cast of the 13 1/2 inch track. My guess it was a female.

Right on, definitely was not the 8 footer you saw..  From the many times we have tracked them. There are usually two or more.. This could be a female or a large youngster.. Thank you for contacting us with your experience, evidence and story.

 I am a firm believer that they are not hostile. They have left me gifts, but at the time didn't realize it. I love that area and go there often. I hear them. They break trees and leave mushrooms freshly picked upside down in the break. 

 They have left me twisted up grass into a human like figure on a rock that I have left apples, nuts and granola bar. Unfortunately my game cam caught only elk in the field. Nothing went to the rock where I left the food. Yet, there was the twisted grass left there and the food was gone.

Sneaky buggers  🙂   we have put camera lines in places we see them travel to and from a creek.. After putting up cameras the track trail changed over 100 yards south.. We do believe they see the IR triggers on the cameras.. However we still leave the cameras out there hoping they make a mistake or get used to them and eventually give us a selfie of them.

My cams took pics of a lot of elk romping around and playing, but nothing triggered the cam at the rock where I left the treats. It's very odd.

 I do have a hand on a night time trail cam pic. It's in an entirely different location. That cam has been taken off the tree and placed face down in the dirt. I have never been able to locate it the last time I checked on it. It's just gone. I'll send that pic too.

Hello rmso, my name is Barry Holmes and have a story to tell. Back in 1975, I know a while ago while hunting and scouting for an elk herd, I was climbing the north face of lone mountain  in big sky Montana.

 Half way up the bowl as we called it, I smelt something like rotted flesh just a horrible stench.  I continued my climb. I searched for the herd following prints. The mountain is at a 10k elevation so had to stop frequently to catch my breathe. 

 Anyway half way up the bowl of the mountain, I thought I saw an elk, but to my surprise it was not. Walking on 2 feet this thing proceeded to climb way faster then I could. About 300 yds ahead of me. Still snow on mountain. 

 I noticed strange prints alongside the elk and bighorn sheep prints that I was following. Note: I never heard of a bigfoot  at this time. The back of this animal had to be 4 to 5 ft in width from shoulder to shoulder.  

 The smell unbearable, but curiosity kept me going up the mountain. It walked up and over the ridge and never saw it again. But I can say 2 things. I'll  never forget what a saw, the height 8 to maybe 10ft but hard to say. The smell, and the width of the back of tis animal undeniably  massive. Here is a pic of lone mountain and u can see the bowl as we called it is where I was climbing

This is lone mountain as u look at it I was on the right side in that bowl climbing up to the ridge is were I had my encounter. Any thanks for listening

P.s. this is way before it turned into a major ski resort area.

Hi Barry, appreciate hearing from you. That bowl looks almost like a volcanic crater. Do you recall what color the creature was? Were you able to estimate the track length or width?

Well remember this was 75 and didnt even know what a bigfoot was... but from what I can recall from the tracks 16 inches maybe and the color was an undeniably reddish brown. Length between tracks no idea sorry.

But the two things that stick out in my mind 40 yrs later was the smell and the width  of the back of this creature longer then 4 ft across

 Have you heard of any sightings in Southwest Montana in the Bighole Valley?

I was up by Pintler Lake near the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness area in an area called Clam Valley this last summer and watched a large up right walking sasquatch walk up a steep ridge, just wondering if you have hard of any other sightings in that area?

 Hi Fred, yes we have done many Bigfoot expeditions near Big Hole area because of the sightings reports there. Recent & all the way back to the deadly Bauman Bigfoot encounter well over 100 years ago.

 I would like to hear details of your sighting. Year, month, time of day. How did it start, end & best description of the creature you recall. Size, weight, color etc..?

Excited to hear from you for the very reason we have been studying the surrounding areas of Bighole for over 10 years now because of the Bigfoot activity there.

 It was 2019, me and my dog hiked into Clam Valley. We were going to spend the day and camp over night. It was about 8:30 AM in the morning. We seen a bull elk on the far side of the field and a mule deer doe in the middle by a small stream. It was like the forest got quiet. The elk and deer were both looking in the same direction toward a steep hill. 

 I looked and saw a large kind of black brown haired upright walking creature about 6'6 probably 600 pounds that looked at me and my dog. And then turned and started up and over the ridge, there was kind of a pungent kind of smell in the air. The deer and elk did not move until the creature was gone. This happened in late June. It was kind of surreal experience. Thanks for your time.
