Hey there. Big fan of your YouTube channel. My name's Wesley Clark, and I am from bountiful Utah. I became interested in bigfoot/Sasquatch when I was little, hearing stories from my gramps. Anyways here's my first sighting encounter.
This happened a few years ago, for me I was probably 17 maybe 18, I am 27 now, anyways two friends and a cousin of mine went for a hike mainly to find a good spot to smoke where we could be free from trouble. I knew of a good hike close by to where I lived, finding it just the other day when a friend and I hiked up there for fun.
Even on that day I felt like eyes were on me. We made it to the top without anything special happening but on the way down I noticed a small clearing to my right the trees aren't pines until you go on higher up, lower and it's just shrub oaks anyway my curiosity got the better and I decided to take a look. I came across what looked to be a good sized thorn bush inside the oak patch when I got closer I realized the stalks of the thorn bush had been weaved together almost like a basket, kind of like a basket you'd see native Americans make.
Anyways at the opening there was a big enough hole for someone or thing to crawl inside. Wanting to investigate I got closer and getting down on my knees I looked inside. It wasn't to tall inside but long. I estimated about 7 or 8' hair was stuck to some of the thorns and the ground was cleared. Anyways idk why but it freaked me out i felt like we should get the hell out of there and as we walked away my friend and I started running as fast as we could down the hill.
Catching back up to the next couple days I'd return with some different friends and my cousin. My friend and I were talking about bigfoot to other two and they laughed at us as we were getting to the shelter I showed the three of them and they kind of shut up about the jokes, we moved on top to the peak of the hill where we would light up. As I was talking more about bigfoot my friend said that he noticed something across the canyon.
A canyon about a year later I'd have another freak encounter with bad smell and a huge tree falling. But that's a different story for a later time, perhaps, On the other side of the hill there's Indian springs rd that leads up into a dirt road we would backpack there often up to a place called Rudy's flats, a nice little camp ground a good hike away from north canyon park.
Anyways as I looked across I noticed a huge looking man dressed all in black. By the way it looked and walked I knew it was a Sasquatch. I began to whoop like I've heard at Rudy's flat in the middle of the night and like the audio recordings I've heard on YouTube.
The Sasquatch, turned, crouching and looked in our direction, stood back up and started walking casually again. I whooped harder and louder and again it turned and crouched. I think I this time he saw us and quickly stood. Didn't run but quickly moved up the rocky hill side got to a snowy area and took cover behind a tree occasionally peering out at us.
It was far way more than then 300 feet but it was huge. The thing is. Is bountiful and the mountains here is close to houses where this big guy was lumbering around looking bored. Anyways to this day I wish to continue looking for a closer encounter almost addicted to it. I got nobody who will talk bigfoot with so it's lonely but I hope to one-day be apart of a field research team and get out to the woods more often.
That's just one of the many encounters. But the only time Ive seen one with my own eyes. The other times I've either heard the whoops screams and grunts. And once was paralleled that's when I smelled them. Scary night they pushed a huge tree down. It made me almost shit myself and we ran away. Never did attempt a night backpack trip again. Thanks for all you do. And hey maybe one day you could do some research here in bountiful there's lots of wilderness in the mountains.

Were you able to determine the creatures height, width or weight when you saw it across the canyon before it took cover behind the tree up in the snow?

So I've talked some guesses at that with a friend who was there and we agreed upon 7 to 8 feet. As of weight it's hard to tell at such a distance. But I'd take a gander at around 500 to 600. Such big creatures though and I feel they would be much heavier them they look.

This is at shaver lake, CA I was fishing and started seeing lots of prints on the ground in the back of an inlet. I also notice some like a mother and child because there were small prints and some big ones every so often. When i zoomed in on this pic I could see a bigfoot in the background.

Hi Artie, interesting.
If that is a Sasquatch, it looks like it may have something smaller and same color on its shoulders. Very dark brown with shades of black.
How long ago did this happen? Did you take photos of the foot prints?

This was last summer May 12 2021.
The area I was fishing at was littered with prints
I took my cousin and he also said, that they were bigfoot prints.
If you look behind me there are some posts in the ground that still have barb wire but it is pushed down and the direction of all the prints are to and from that direction
That area is like a bigfoot highway
Biggest footprints I saw were like 20inches
I noticed them first, when I was on my way walking to that fishing spot.
Then found fresh tracks of the baby prints and then saw the moms footprints. They were like in a rocky part where no normal person would be walking barefoot and in the same direction I was going.

How long were the suspected mother tracks near the smaller footprints?

The moms prints were around 14 to 15inches long.
Then when I got to the place were I was fishing. I landed that trout like within 5 min and had my buddy take the pic of me holding the fish. I went back and just started to look at the background of some pics and spotted what I believe is mother and child.

In our experience 14 to 15 inch long feet is usually as big as an adult females will get.
We search in an area where we find a youngsters 8 inch long foot prints along side its mothers 14inch long tracks.
Once in a while we will find giant 19 inch long by 8 inch wide tracks, along side female and youngster tracks.

There are a couple lakes and spots out here were I've seen prints and experience some wild things but never had evidence like this pic.
I haven't been back there since I went with my older cousin. It feels like your being watched.
There's another spot called balsam forebay that had lots of prints
And Huntington lake, I've also seen some a large tracks at Wishon lake.
Basically when you go up the Sierra at about 5,000ft you start seeing prints at all the lakes

The photos are a fraction of what I've seen out there as well as snapped branches up high.
At night I have seen eyeshine up high too.
A separate instance I had a stringer of fish in the water in a nice pool area of a creek and decided to leave the fish there and continue up the creek to fish and just come get the stringer. When I went back to the stringer, it had been moved and there were some tiny weird shaped foot prints leading to and from the stringer.
Some of the pics of these footprints do not do them justice, when you see in person you get the real feel of there depth and impression.

weeks several years ago. Beautiful area. Were you able to estimate height or
width of the creature or tell what color it was? Any details you can recall
would be great.

setter, and the way it just ran across like we run, but fast and long legs.

Hello my name is Linda I live in Alabama in the
country with my mom my dad my sisters and brothers my grandmother lives in the
house next to us this was back in 1979. I think I was 14 or 15 somewhere around
there.
Anyhow I needed to use the phone and we did not have one and I asked my
mother if she could take me over to my aunt's to use her phone. I need you to
call a classmate about my homework and she said I can't do it right now I'm
cooking supper and I've already got it on cooking. So I said, well I'll just walk
over there I love living in the country all of my life so I know all the sounds
of animals around me.
Anyhow I was probably a quarter of a mile from my mother's
house when I began to hear something a noise that I had never heard before I
kept walking and it's was getting louder, but I couldn't see anything.
I got
almost to the fourth of the road where I had to turn to go to my aunt's and
look back down to my right there was something standing there it had to be at
least 7 to 8 ft tall. It was a dark hairy thing it had its arms up in the air
not straight up but to the side. I could see the hair hanging down off its
arms and it was making the weirdest noise that I've ever heard. Never heard this
noise and never have sense I didn't know what a big foot was at the time but it
scared me.
I turned around and begin running back to my home as hard as I
could. All I could think about is this thing is fixing to grab me from behind. I
got to the house I was so out of breath that I couldn't even speak. When I got
where I could, I told my dad and mom what I had seen.
My dad got the shotgun and
went back up to the place where I had seen it. I pointed down where it was, he
walked down there. By this time it was getting dusk and dark. He didn't see anything
he didn't look for footprints. Like I said, I or my folks had a never heard of
anything like a big foot, but I seen it and I know there's something out there
this is a true story.
