This photo was taken back in February 2022 at photographers property in the Sierra Nevada. He said they were at about 2.5 miles deep into their property, not near anything
Asked why he only took the one photo and here is what he said.
“It was taken in a wilderness area north of Santa Fe at probably 7000’ or higher. There was only one visible track as it was entering a scree rocky area coming off a snowfield. I assume the rest were melted off and unidentifiable. In [my wife’s] language the creatures’ name translates into the “Tall ones”. Sorta interesting in that someone would have to go out in bad weather near or above the dangerous tree line to fake a track that most likely would never be seen in a remote wilderness area.”

My name is Anthony. I live in Escondido CA, my story takes place on Palomar Mountain, within the state park. I was with my best friend Andrew. We were both in our early 20’s. I was waiting on car parts so we decided we go take a hike while we wait.
My story takes place on Tuesday 10/11/16. We parked at Doane pond it was around 1 when we made it up there. In the parking lot was one other car. I choose Scott’s cabin, as a hike worth taking. I was hoping it would take us to a peak as I’ve never hiked it before, it was posted as 1.2 miles away.
Andrew unimpressed with the hike takes us off trail “straight up” almost immediately. I’m in flip flops, I’m getting stabbed and covered in dirt by the thick brush. We come up to the edge of a ridge and at the edge sits a perfect 3-4ft circle of soft dirt. It overlooked the road in but it was high enough up you would be unlikely to see anything on it. We looked curiously at the ground puzzled by how this could be, I’m in flip flops so I take a moment to feel the ground.
Out of no where we here this loud deep yell, wasn’t words just a loud sound. We note it but think “oh that was at least two or three ridges of the mountain over.” The trail was close by and after our adventures up, I was happy to be back on it.
It was fall so the pine cones were falling but I pointed out some sounded a bit heavy and fell to close to us to be pine cones but we continued. Just before Scott’s cabin you walk through these maze like single file walk way bushes although nothing happened here, it had this very uncomfortable feel tall and thick enough to not see through, thin enough you could have probable stuck your arm through. Something I’ve just always remembered.
We continued on walking through those bushes popping out of them and looking up and to my left a bunch of cut and stacked pieces of huge lumber. I think to myself “we made it”. I walk to the right of the trail to see the view. I take around ten steps look out, it’s an ok view I think “where is Andrew.” So I turn around to look for him not feeling in any danger I turn around not super fast but at a comfortable rate of speed.
I turn around and something is already turned around standing next to a tree within 40ft of me. It distinctly jumps down and takes six big heavy monstrous steps and nothing for a second. As this is happening I’m yelling “I saw you! I saw you!” Andrew asks “was that you” but quickly realizes I’m not in the direction of the noise he heard.
When I had walked to the right ten steps or so off trail, he kept walking the trail at the point where when I turned around. There was a large bush between us, we could not see each other, we were about 20ft away from each other. When We came together back on the trail no closer than five feet apart, discussing what just happened and “should we leave” being asked.
Out of nowhere a flatish rock, between the size of a baseball and softball lands between us, As if to say “I could have been right there”. At a minimum, of what I can remember this rock had to be thrown from 15 feet below us and 60 plus feet away with accuracy. We quickly gathered ourselves and headed down the mountain back to the car. There was not another incident on the way down.
It happened in a split second burned into my memory is the image of a large black figure with a distinct v shape in its back, that V was white and everything within the V was white. There was no visible head as if it was below the large and wide shoulders. The shoulders from shoulder to shoulder on top had a distinct bow to it. I estimate what I saw to be somewhere in the 7ft 500 Lbs range. The foot steps were so loud I can not comprehend what would have made such a heavy footed noise each step. (3-400 Lbs would just not have made that thud, I worked with a 6’6 330lb man, this was not that.)
I’ve been back to that spot twice sense. The first time both Andrew and I went back it took over 6 months. We went back just to see if we could come close to the loudness of the footsteps we heard. We obviously could not. He got a Australian shepherd in hopes of this happens again, she will let us know it’s there. The second time I went back there was a tree fort structure erected very close to the site that I stood at. I will include that photo. And to give some size reference I’m 5’8 185 you could easily fit two of me in it.
I’ve adventure into different parts of the mountain using the truck trails. Ive explored a particular part of the truck trail and 4 of the 6 times I’ve come out with unexplainable stories I’ve stopped returning. The first experience was the first time I encountered a tree structure with the woven sticks to make a shelter somewhere there is a photo of it.
The second time andrew and I followed that same truck trail we got to a dead end near the top we were in a remote spot no one for miles you couldn’t hear a car and out of nowhere we hear something that sounds whoop at us it was so deep I love music and that was low sounded luck a truck needless to say we left shortly after.
The 3rd experience was right around the area where I encountered my first tree structure. We encountered this awful smell I can only explain it as stand in a porter potty right over the full pooper and start taking big whiffs it stopped us in our tracks it was so putrid we looked around but saw nothing we kept going and on our return past that same spot no smell.
One of the last times I’ve been up there. I was at the same truck trail I’ve encountered this before I was by myself. You know that moment when your going into the real unknown where there won’t be another person and you can’t call for help because your just too far out there. I was teetering on that point my initiation was screening turn around. I took 2 short videos of some very unexplainable foot prints I found. I don’t show it well in the video but it looks like something was above the trail on the side of the mountain smashed some trees jumped down onto the trail and walks across it.
I wrote to the rangers attempting to be a little vague in hopes they would take what I did say seriously. I never did call, how do you tell a ranger I was stocked by something I can’t even explain.
I write to you for selfish reasons I hope that recounting it in detail although scary at first will help with healing. I was stocked by Bigfoot and had explainable encounters and that’s ok.
I’m going to add a photo takin up by Idyllwild it’s unedited you tell me what you think is in the sky.

This is at shaver lake, CA I was fishing and started seeing lots of prints on the ground in the back of an inlet. I also notice some like a mother and child because there were small prints and some big ones every so often. When i zoomed in on this pic I could see a bigfoot in the background.

Hi Artie, interesting.
If that is a Sasquatch, it looks like it may have something smaller and same color on its shoulders. Very dark brown with shades of black.
How long ago did this happen? Did you take photos of the foot prints?

This was last summer May 12 2021.
The area I was fishing at was littered with prints
I took my cousin and he also said, that they were bigfoot prints.
If you look behind me there are some posts in the ground that still have barb wire but it is pushed down and the direction of all the prints are to and from that direction
That area is like a bigfoot highway
Biggest footprints I saw were like 20inches
I noticed them first, when I was on my way walking to that fishing spot.
Then found fresh tracks of the baby prints and then saw the moms footprints. They were like in a rocky part where no normal person would be walking barefoot and in the same direction I was going.

The moms prints were around 14 to 15inches long.
Then when I got to the place were I was fishing. I landed that trout like within 5 min and had my buddy take the pic of me holding the fish. I went back and just started to look at the background of some pics and spotted what I believe is mother and child.

In our experience 14 to 15 inch long feet is usually as big as an adult females will get.
We search in an area where we find a youngsters 8 inch long foot prints along side its mothers 14inch long tracks.
Once in a while we will find giant 19 inch long by 8 inch wide tracks, along side female and youngster tracks.

There are a couple lakes and spots out here were I've seen prints and experience some wild things but never had evidence like this pic.
I haven't been back there since I went with my older cousin. It feels like your being watched.
There's another spot called balsam forebay that had lots of prints
And Huntington lake, I've also seen some a large tracks at Wishon lake.
Basically when you go up the Sierra at about 5,000ft you start seeing prints at all the lakes

The photos are a fraction of what I've seen out there as well as snapped branches up high.
At night I have seen eyeshine up high too.
A separate instance I had a stringer of fish in the water in a nice pool area of a creek and decided to leave the fish there and continue up the creek to fish and just come get the stringer. When I went back to the stringer, it had been moved and there were some tiny weird shaped foot prints leading to and from the stringer.
Some of the pics of these footprints do not do them justice, when you see in person you get the real feel of there depth and impression.
My husband was a preteen living near the Snake River in California, when Big Foot visited that area. The kids were playing hide & seek & Perry looked up to see a hair-covered man-like upright walking beast, quietly watching the kids play.
Perry yelled, jumped a fence & quickly gathered up his buddies & they ran home to their trailer homes in "Pole Line Trailer" Camp. Being intrepid kids, they rounded up weapons (guns, knives an eclectic collection & went Big Foot hunting.) Fortunately, they didn't encounter it.
Near that time some teens from the same trailer camp: (on a date) were parked in their vehicle, hugging & kissing, when a Big Foot came up to the car, grabbed it, roared at them & violently shook the vehicle. The frightened teens quickly left the area.
The next day the frightened teens took adults to the sight of the incident. On a tree near the parking area, were long claw marks, way up on the tree. (Too high for a human to reach.) Adults told the teens, "Awe, you saw a bear." The terrified teens insisted it wasn't a bear but a hairy man/ape looking creature.
A few days later two trappers caught a hairy man/ape looking creature in a trap. They loaded the trap into their pickup & headed to town, to show the Sheriff. Apparently, the beast wasn't really aggressive toward them. On their way to town, they had a flat tire. It was depression time, so they had no spare tire, so they checked the hasp on the cage, covered it with a tarp, & walked to town.
When they got back, the cage/tarp looked undisturbed, but when the tarp was removed, the cage was empty. The hasp was fastened. All they could guess was the beast was intelligent enough to unfasten the cage, exit the cage, & then refasten he cage, replace the tarp & leave. The thought the creature was that intelligent really scared them as they wondered what they had caught in their trap., because no animal they'd ever caught looked like this creature & no animal had the ability to escape & then rearrange the trap.
When I asked Perry what the creature looked like, he said it's face was kind of like a lion & a bear combined. That he couldn't find words to accurately describe it as it was unique. He was a hunter, & he'd never seen anything like it. He said it walked upright like a man. He said it seemed more "curious about their behavior, than anything else, that it simply was intently observing the kids at play. Perry is gone now but he was an honest man, & whatever he saw left a lifetime impression on that stoic man.

Obviously the one in a trap was a youngster, doubt the one your husband or the couple in the car saw would have been captured in a fur trap or fit in a mobile cage.

I have a Sasquatch encounter story from my dad. It was 1969...
He was MENDOCINO NATIONAL FOREST SERVICE RANGER FOR 30 years.
When we got together..my curiosity got my.. asking questions about BIGFOOT.
If he'd ever had a encounter?
The man started crying real tears.
I couldn't understand why he was so upset.
Here we go..
He told me about the night he and a co worker were looking for poachers.
His partner was driving the vehicle. It was about dusk..on a forest service road not traveled by anyone except hunters..and the rangers.
He told his partner to slow down or he was going to hit a deer.
Well..within minutes they hit a... something!!. Ran over it and killed it.
IT TURNED OUT TO BE A JUVINAL FEMALE BIGFOOT. He said to be approximately 12 to 15 years old..."estimate age"
Not knowing what to do they took the body to a nearby forest service maintained cabin.. and locked it there to go get his supervisor to ask what to do.!!
When they arrived The cabin had been broken into and the body was gone.!!
My father cried real tears.. because he felt he "they" had killed a preteen female... not a an animal!!??.
As he was a avid hunter.🤔he gave so much more detail as how this creature looked and his panic. His...sadness..and complete shock as to what was happening.
After a follow up question
The deceased bigfoot is believed to have been taken by another sasquatch because the cabin door was destroyed from the outside.

Scariest Moment of Teens Life

Hi there RMSO, my name is Gabriel and ive had a sasquatch encounter about 4 years ago when I was 15 years old staying with my grandpa and grandma for the weekend. on this one night I woke up in the middle of the night around 12pm - 2 am in the morning in Julian California (remember though at this time of day in the mountains is still pitch Black).
And all I can remember most of the biggest part of that night is hearing the loudest grown, roar, or a yelling noise combined.
About I would say at least 50 to 80 ft away from my room that I was sleeping in and I do remember that the window was opened a little and the blinds were open slightly
I remember that I was so in shocked that I couldn't move and the most scariest part was that I heard the Bigfoot walk by the window of the bedroom and hearing the crunching of the leaves that it was stepping on and when it got to the window it didn't touch it or had anything violent to show.
It looked in towards the window and I can remember the shadow of at least a 8 or 9 ft tall, big heavy Mass shadow of a body. it probably stood there for a good minute or in 2 minutes and decided to walk down the hill. I did however hear it 20 more minutes later away yelling from the building.
the building my grandmother and grandfather lived on was on the property of a Calvary chapel Church in Winola of Julian.
Julian however is part of San Diego county and is near borrego. though I've never ever had or found any more information of the similar sighting or encounter of a Sasquatch around that time. I don't really remember the month or the day but five years ago from now would be 2016.

Do you recall how high the window is from the ground on the out side?

the sqatch was directly looking into the window, by that I mean I couldn't hear him breathing but it was at least a foot away from the window. and I think the window seal was at least four and a half feet tall or maybe five and two quarters tall. I can't really remember the exact measurements but I could tell you that this was probably the most scariest moment of my life.

Had a girl friend parked making out when she said look look out there in front of the car...When I turned to see was i remember the 1st thing I said, was " it's a monster "..huge ....50 feet walking directly in front of my car...so what do I do when it was right in front of my car I turned the high lights on him...a giant male...throw it's arms up to block the lights but then it started at the car...i started the car & backed up to the road behind us as fast as i could...i turned to take one last look.
To my surprise to find this creature standing right next to my car..as I looked up at him it seemed the bigger it got...then when I final locked eyes with this thing ....it showed it teeth at me like a dog would yellowish teeth with upper and lower k9s...then the weirdest thing happen it's lips curled way up on the sides as if it was trying to smile but it was the scariest smile I've ever seen..at that point I gun the gas & the thing kept up with my car till I pulled out of 2 gear doing about 30 to 35 mph....i can still remember it lime it was last night but it been over 20 years now...
What you got to understand is at that point I was not a believer, I thought it was a fairy tale...but after that night I was a believer. I couldn't doubt what I seen with my own eyes..it actually put me in a little bit of shock...the girl was the worst though she wouldn't talk for about a week...and she never really was the same after that night...

I have received similar reports. Some where it walks around car while people sitting or sleeping in it. Others where they hit it with their headlights and it shields its eyes and even a Idaho report where it chased along side their vehicle at similar speeds.

I still have to say when it's lips curled way up on the sides of its mouth as if to smile was the scariest smile I've ever seen...
I had a encounter while archery hunting in 91 where a pair came in right out of sight of are camp fire at about midnight. And started this gibberish weird talking back & forth. Then one of them started throwing rocks at my head. I was duckin & bobbing so not to get knocked out by a rock..well after the fifth rock & me yelling at them to stop what there were doing. I actually pick up one of the rocks & threw it back in the direction of the creatures.
They did not like that cuz one let a roar out so load I could fill it in my chest. I looked over to where my friend was standing to see him not there. At 1st my mind thought o.o shit they grabbed him but no was hidden on his floor boards of his jeep Cherokee. I yelled at him that he'd better not leave me...i built a huge fire it seemed to keep them back. But after we calmed down & I got in my tent around 3am. One of them came right to the side of my tent & Tryed pushing down on my tent. Using my back hand I swatted the area that was being pushed down and yelled NO stop.
Which to my surprise it did..i didn't crawl out of my tent till the sun was,way up...i could plainly see it's tracks around my tent then it went up behind where were camp into this area of trees...i walked into the trees but just got that filling that this would be a great ambush set up & backed out...this was in Shasta county between hwy 89 & burney......
I've had lions in zoos roar in my direction & the roar that creature let out that night was like 15 lions roaring at once...we manned up & stayed till we both had a buck...but it did make me stay out of that area I've never hunted that area again...
