College Students Encounter with
Cream Colored Bigfoot in Lapalala Wilderness

Hi Everyone
I hope you are well.
So I haven't shared my experience with my wife or anyone else because
South Africa "does not have bigfoot" as they say. South Africa has
many game reserves whether they are private or national and they are
generally fenced off, so the whole thing confuses me a little.
I think it was 2014 or 2015. I was at Nature Conservation college and
sometimes we would go into the bush for practical experience and
collect hours for our portfolios etc.
So we were at this location called Lapalala Wilderness school.
It was the Thursday night leading into our last day so everyone was
having a good time after the hard work we put in and so forth, so a
bunch of us went down to the creek at around 20:30 to see if we could
spot the hippos.
It got really dark in the bush as it was in summer and the bush was
pretty dense, even the moon couldn't light the load up much. So I went
back to get my bigger torch (flashlight) and catch up with the guys.
While I was coming back I could see all their lights were aimed at
this one spot and I saw they were shining light onto a pretty
decent-sized warthog which then charged them to which they all spun
around with torches moving frantically. I had a good laugh.
I reached the spot where the warthog was and it was obviously gone but
there was lots of dust still floating around due to the sand being so
loose. Now I also picked up that the guys were hiding from me as a
joke but they were big guys so just picture them crashing through the
trees giving away their positions in any case. It was hilarious.
While I was walking towards them - them still running- I just took it
easy on my bad ankle. I heard some sticks cracking to my left behind
me and thought it was another one of the guys coming to join us from
the bonfire area but when I stopped and waited and even called out to
him there was silence. So I continued and so did the "footfall" is
that what it's called? I stopped to see who is trying to scare me but
nobody showed up.
Now I started walking a bit faster to catch up with the others as I
was getting freaked out, maybe I was stalked by a leopard or
something. But something in me told me to freeze and I did. I didn't
feel any dread or panic but I felt eyes on me and somehow when that
happens your eyes always meet the spot where it's coming from.
There behind a big tree, I could see half-diagonally this almost
cream-colored bigfoot staring at me but I could only just see its
color through a moonlit break in the tree cover. It was hanging from
the stump by its right arm with its left arm leaning on the bush next
to him. I couldn't see its feet. I first looked hard to see what it
was because it didn't make sense but as I brought my torch up it
bolted into the bush, hardly making a sound except for a couple of
steps on twigs.
I freaked and ran back to camp but didn't say anything because maybe I
was being pranked and I didn't know what I had seen. Nobody else
seemed out of place and when the guys got back they were only talking
about how they got the fright of their lives with the warthog and how
they were waiting for me to prank me but I never got there.
So my thinking is, maybe it was hunting the warthog and chasing it out
onto the pathway road thing and the warthog wasn't actually chasing
the guys but running past them away from the bigfoot, and when I got
there casually it was interested in what I was?
I never thought about it again until I came across Cliff and his crew
who I emailed as well. And Sasquatch Chronicles where people described
the same sorts of things and finally small town monsters with Aleks
Petakov. Now I am convinced that I was a bigfoot but now this is where
my confusion comes in.
The area where I saw it is 45000 hectares - not
sure how many acres that is - (RMSO calculated it as 174 square miles)
and their reserves are fenced off so how
does it get around without getting caught or feeling trapped? There is
another reserve right next to it though. And South Africa is small,
to begin with, where the most known bigfoot case is reported in the
Knysna forest.
I had nobody to report this to until Cliff and then wanted to confirm
if you guys had heard anything about any reports in South Africa which
is why I asked on FB messenger. In South Africa, you will be ridiculed
big time for saying you have experienced a bigfoot encounter.
