Walked up on a skunk ape while deer hunting osecolia wma in Florida. It became very aggressive showing territorial threats towards me then ran off into the cypress swamp. Been hunting 40 years never seen anything that terrifying in my life. 2013.

20 feet to start with. It was in real thick palmettos and under brush squatted down . I think he thought I'd walk by but the thin deer trail led me straight to a small clearing about 20 foot across . he stood up and bolted only saw it for a second.
Wasn't sure I seen what I seen but after it ran into the thick head high palmettos and brush it stopped about 20 yards away and started acting crazy taunting and daring me to come in after it. Breaking limbs and roaring screaming . deep tone screaming .

wow. I live in Indiana and have heard of reported sightings. My question is why are they being seen now after so many years? Is it the climate change that gave them moving more to where they are seen and or possibly food sources?
I believe they are out there just like there are probably creatures in our oceans that have either thought to have gone extinct or never aeen before new species.
The woods as well as exterestial creatures.
Perhaps they are trying to tell us something about the future of the planet.

I believe there are more sightings because social media is allowing us to share our experiences on a large scale rather than it just being local story telling. People have always had encounters that's how the Legend of BF got started. I was never interested in bigfoot until 2013 when I had my encounter while deer hunting. I always said I'll believe it when I see it. Well now I know. 😆 lol. I don't care to have another encounter like that one
