Lake Koon Sasquatch Confronts Fisherman Blocks Trail
Like a Linebacker Grunting Repeatedly
Jeff writes RMSO
Hello, I came across your post on Facebook about a lady in Bluefield Wva recording Bigfoot vocalizations. I have always been an avid hunter, and fisherman, and I definitely with out a doubt know that Sasquatch do exist, because I have had four separate actual sightings, two in one general area, and two in different location, but not far from each other.
The first two sightings were both just across the PA southern border near Cumberland MD. The first sighting was up on the mountain above Koon and Gordon Lakes. The upper dam dumps into the lower dam. There is a large breast/ bridge there.
The second encounter was just after dusk. I was standing next to the breast catching and releasing big bluegills, and it was almost dark, and I wanted to stay and keep catching fish. I didn't have a flashlight with me, but there was a little moon light. I heard a roar that at first I thought was a bear.
I packed my stuff and started to walk up to the road at the edge of the bridge/ breast of the upper dam. I was planning on walking down the road and to my car which was parked at the first parking spot on the left by a yellow gate. I got half way up to the road, and then I heard a more loud, gutteral sounding roar coming from across the road not far from me. This was a sound about exactly like the woman recorded, and the ones you posted in Arizona and CA.
I never heard anything that loud hollaring, and it was kind of human like, but way deeper of a voice, and louder! You could actually feel the vibration from its gutteral yell! It sounded like it was right across the road from me, so I decided to not go up to the road, and cut straight through the little patch of woods straight to my car as quickly as possible without running.
I had no flashlight, and it was much darker in the woods there. I got about half way through the patch of woods, and something came down from the road and ran right in front of me, and stopped me! It was 5 to 6 feet in front of me, close enough to touch me, standing straight up, with its arms out to its sides like a linebacker blocks. It was much taller than me, I was looking up at it, and I was trying to go left and right, but it kept blocking my way, but it would not touch me, it just grunted at me repeatedly, as I tried to get away from it, left and right and finally I started hollaring terrified telling it to get away from me!
I finally just charged to my right and ran to my car and got in and locked the doors as fast as I could. It went down towards the lake when I charged past it yelling. It was very dark, but I did see it in the dim moonlight, and I can say, it looked like a hairy huge muscular wildman, much like Bruiser Brody, big wide shoulders, no neck, long arms.
It was literally close enough that it could have touched me, but it never did, just grunted as I tried to get away from it. That was my second encounter in that general area. The first was in broad daylight, about a mile up on that same mountain while I was hunting in buck season a few years before that happened. It was in broad daylight, and I was within 10 yards of it at first, then about 25 yards away from it, which could have been a second one, because it came from a different direction, but not sure. I can go more into detail on that encounter, because it is a rather long story writing it out.
What is really crazy, is when I saw this Bluefield Wva vocalization post, out of curiosity, I looked on mapquest to see exactly where Bluefield Wva is. If you follow the mountain range from Bluefield Wva, it spans northeast, and guess what!? IT IS THE EXACT SAME MOUNTAIN RANGE THAT GOES STRAIGHT TO CUMBERLAND DAMS!
West Virgina Bigfoot Howls
I couldn't believe that! And if you look at that mountain range, there are multiple valleys and ridges that run parallel the whole way, close to 300 miles! There is no doubt in my mind that they are using that mountain range to travel for the changing seasons, and it is easier to stay hidden and probably easier to catch a meal without being seen. I am a honest guy, and call it exactly as I see it, never drank alcohol or did any drugs, so I know without a doubt that what I saw was 100% real. I also had a third sighting of one while buck hunting on Blue Knob Mountain, where Bedford, Somerset, and Cambria Counties of PA come together and meet. That one was more reddish brown looking.
I also saw a fourth one last summer, while fishing on my kayak on a back remote eddy of Beaverdam Run Reservoir, which is in Cambria county, not far from Blue Knob area. It was more blackish gray, like the one in Cumberland. It was standing at the furthest edge of the lake watching me fish.
When I got closer, it wasn't standing there anymore. The first one in Cumberland looked black at first, but when I caught up to it, it was a dark grayish brown, slightly darker than a beech tree bark. It blended into the trees very well. It had a little lighter gray skin where the hair was thinner, ( chest muscle, abdominal area, bicept area, hands, face ). It had hair covering most of its face except an oval around its eyes.
Eyes and nose was sunken into its face like a gorilla, cheeks looked similar to a chimpanzee. I can tell you the entire story, but it will be another long read! I only told a few people about this, and I know my dad thinks I'm full of crap, but I told him the truth and know exactly what I saw, and it was not a bear!
I believe that when they hollar that loud, it is to scare people and predators away when they are trying to catch a meal. I think it was warning me to get out of its territory, both times at the Cumberland Dams. Check out the map, and you'll see I am telling the truth. I think that whole mountain would be an excellent place to see one. Let me know if you want to hear about my other two encounters. The one I told you about was the most terrifying for me. No gun, and no flashlight! That sucked! Lol.
I have had other signs of them while hunting those same areas, definite knocks in different areas of each other, small rocks landing near me while hunting, walking on the logging roads, heard what sounded like a woman and a man talking in a gibberish mumbling down below me where I couldn't see them. Could not make out any words, but definitely sounded like they were speaking to each other.
So I know for sure that they really do exist, and I think THAT is the only way for someone to truly believe that they exist is to see one for themselves! There are truly too many people out on the internet putting up hoaxes, that anyone is hard to believe. The cool thing is, after you see one, you know which stories are real, and which ones are fake, just by the little details about their appearances, and features.
My first encounter, I followed it up the mountain a long way, with my. 270 rifle on my shoulder, but it looked so much like a human that I never even thought about bringing the gun up or shoot at it. I also was sure it wasn't a person in a suit, because the muscles moved, and it's cheeks moved, showing me its teeth, but still had no intentions to even point the gun at it.
I was determined to see just what the hell it was! When you see one, you have a hard time getting it to sink into your head what you just saw without a doubt. The first one I saw looked exactly like the Patterson film, except it was lanky, and probably male, younger looking, but its face was identical. That is a real Bigfoot without a doubt in my honest opinion. Thanks, and if you want to hear my other encounters, let me know. My name is Jeffrey, I am 47 years old. From Somerset County PA. Thanks for reading. This is real! No BS!
The first and second encounters were within about 2 or 3 miles from each other , probably less than that through the woods. My first encounter was in broad daylight sunny calm day in December of around 2006, the ground was wet, after a snowfall the day before. I was buck hunting later in the first week of buck season.
The night sighting at Cumberland dam was around 2007. It was very dark with just a little moonlight. I saw the outline of it, and not much detail, but enough to know that it was not a bear. It stood crouched like a linebacker with its arms out to its side. I was about eye level with the top of its abs, or bottom of its massive wide muscular chest. It had long hair and long arms and hands
The only way for people to believe what I am sharing, is for them to get out in the deep woods, where most hunters don't go, and see one for yourself. As I said, the evening sighting, in the patch of woods, it was darker than it was out on the road but there was a very dim moonlight , so I could see its outline, but its face was too dark to see. It was wide and tall, even with it crouching, it was much wider and taller than me, and covered with dark hair.
Whatever made the hollars is what walked down right in front of me, because I could hear it walking. It was on two legs and was like a big wild man, not a bear. It had very long arms and very big hands, and was bigger than any person, and no person could yell that loud! As I tried walking, it kept in front of me blocking the direction I was trying to go to get away from it ,and to my car, grunting at me and putting its hands close to me without touching me to try blocking me from moving forward.
My first encounter was close enough, in sunny daylight, to know for sure that it was a real animal, and no human could have done what it did. I guess I should share my first encounter to clarify some things for the people who are getting the two sightings mixed up.
One thought the picture was the actual picture. (Cover Photo) You did pick a decent picture as kinda a reenactment. The top outline of the head and shoulder area was much like that, but it was much closer to me, right in front of me within a few feet, and it was much darker, and I could mostly see the outline of it in the dim moonlight, but it was so close that I could see some detail like the wild looking hair sticking up on its head, it's chest and shoulders were massive, it was crouched down with its arms towards me with its hands almost touching me, and I was looking up at its face, but it was too dark to see features.
The moonlight came from behind it out over the lake, and the trees broke up the very dim light, so I could see its outline, but the face was in the shadow, so I just saw enough to know it was like a wildman, and not a bear. When I started charging to my right, I yelled and bumped its left hand and it seemed to scare it, and it went down to the lake.
I didn't go into detail enough about the first encounter, because I wanted to show the link between my second encounter and the Bluefield Wva recording of the vocalization, and confirm that sound definitely came from bigfoot. It was not a bear cub. Bear cubs have paws with claws, not huge hands.
Bears don't have a humanlike/ ape like head that sits right on their shoulders. Everything I told you about is 100 % true story. I wasn't imagining anything, I described it to the best of my memory, which I can never forget for some reason. I hate seeing other people when I go hunting, so I will go where there are no cars, and I will walk deeper into the woods.
Down around Cumberland dams, I rarely see another hunter unless they come in while I'm already there. I saw many bears and coyotes to know enough that it was no bear. There are obvious differences that you can't really mistake when they are that close! I did talk to the Native American lady who commented she wanted to hear more of my encounters, and she shared some really awesome stories that were handed down to her by her elders. I enjoyed hearing her stories. Thanks for posting my second encounter. My first one was the better encounter. Bears just don't get up and run through the woods on two legs. Lol
