Mogollon Monster Update Bigfoot Activity

What states in the American West are the Squatchiest, in your experience and understanding?

I watched your videos on Nevada's Jarbidge backcountry. Neat. I know of the area from my camping, backpacking, trout fishing and (some) hunting in our Western U.S. As in the Bauman incident in Montana that Pres. Teddy Roosevelt wrote of, there are examples of aggressive and deadly Bigfoot behavior, historically (Native American accounts) and recent. While Bigfoot needs protection by law, I believe, as Grizzlies, Cougars, etc. have, do you believe evidence shows a propensity for territorial displays that may be violent?

Are you all at RMSO familiar with Mitch Waite and his research in the Siera Ancha Range of Arizona's Mogollon Rim? Photos of the area attached.

James Gibson
I am attaching a photo of a 17" track that is approximately 2+ times wider than my 12.5 size wide boot. The track was following a daytime sighting (my own) and my camp amigo's night sighting. We have audio from at least two Sasquatch in our camp. These visited while we slept.

The area we were in is where Mitch Waite researched in the Sierra Ancha Mountains of Arizona, on the Tonto National Forest, and we did camp in his exact location (featured on Finding Bigfoot with the IR imagery of Sasquatch in ice cooler).

Prior to this trip, I was not wholly with the "Woo" discipline of Sasquatch research. I am definately now understanding the "cloaking" aspect such folks profess is real. Also, other dynamics of "Woo" I witnessed. I might send you a report on the experiences.

RMSO Responds
Good looking track, toes show up well for the camera on the first track photo.

James Gibson
I estimated the track at 11" width. My boot is 12.5 size and is 5" wide. This implies to me it is a toe-kick marker(territorial?) track that isn't indicating full heel extent. At 11" width, it might be 22" length "bigfoot" adjusting off average proportions. That is a true giant running around in the Sierra Ancha Range of Arizona's Mogollon Rim region. Amazing. Perhaps 10 to 12-foot tall alpha male Sasquatch. It must weight over 1000-pounds. Neat.

Had one sighting in the Sierra Anchas and many woodknocks, plus several vocalizations. And, a pine cone toss at me. As well, we recorded audio of a few Sasquatch in our camp. These were speaking in low, deep voices, as we slept.

I was with tow others. We are at Mitch Waite's Rose Creek research area. The two others are Chuck Jacobs and Kevin Kehne (wildcard behaviorally, I found)

RMSO
Beautiful area. Thanks for the photos and update of your expedition.

James Gibson
I had a sighting in the daytime of what I estimated at 7'6" height. It left a finger and some hair marks on my truck that was covered with dust from the roads to Rose Creek. Here are the photos of that. Plus, I have finger prints from my drivers side window. Photo attached.

James Gibson
Also, I would note that among dozens of woodknocks, I heard vocalization at 4:00-AM that sounded near identical to the St. Louis County, Minnesota "Oooo" wolfish howl. It was not a wolf. It was approximately 1/4 to 1/2 mile distant on a mountain to the N.W.

Date of sighting was 12/19/18 at approximately 3:00-PM. Date of the howl was the 20th at 4:00-AM.

The large track was found by us on the morning of 12/20/18 above and south of Rose Creek in the Sierra Ancha Range within the Tonto National Forest.

P.S. The RMSO is my favorite Sasquatch information source. You all keep on Squatchin', I will keep on watchin'....and will continue always Squatchin' too.

Report from Sasquatch expedition on Rose Creek in Sierra Ancha Range of Arizona.  This expedition took place in the camping area used by Mogollon Monster researcher Mitch Weite.

Dec. 19th - Within one hour in camp, a pine cone was observed thrown toward me while seated in camp.  This was followed by sighting of approximately 7'6" Sasquatch moving north to south only 30- to 40-yards from camp.  I moved to the front of my Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, in the direction of where the Sasquatch at disapeared, and a finger track mark plus arm hair brushings were found in the dust covering the truck's hood (note photo).

Dec. 20 - 11" x 22" Sasquatch track found over camp near Rose Creek (note photos).  Finger prints found on truck's drivers' side mirror (note photo).

James Joseph Gibson of Pima County, Arizona, USA

Dec. 21 - As I emerged from my truck shell at 3:00-AM from resting of the night, an audible grunt noise was heard from behind nearby berry bushes along Rose Creek, approximately 25-yards away.   At 4:00-AM, a large howl off the mountain slopes to the northwest sounded like the St. Louis County, MN Sasquatch vocalization audio recording.

From Dec. 19th to 22nd - Many dozen woodknocks heard.

& shares his Bigfoot research notes from some of his Arizona Bigfoot expeditions.

Note photos attached. The forest cover is heavy, In many areas on Mount Graham, there is heavy growth forest. Again, there are 8 count BFRO sighting reports on remote Mount Graham in S.E. Arizona.

P.S. There are actually 8 sightings on Mount Graham in S.E. Arizona, to as recent as 2013. Beautiful area a reasonable drive from my home in Pima County, Arizona. Highly recommend you try

To, Kelly Shaw at Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization
The following is my submitted report to the RMSO regarding a Fall 2015 parallel escort incident in the Coronado National Forest of S.E. Arizona, following summiting 9,452-foot Mount Wrightson (photo from ascent attached).

Report:
It was mid-week day in latest-October of 2015 when I set out from the Madera Canyon trailhead to climb 9,452-foot Mount Wrightson via trails on the Coronado National Forest in S.E. Arizona.

The weather was clear and few where seen along the route, two groups of two each and, surprising...to me... for near November in higher forest, one Arizona Horned Toad accompanied the hundreds of other lizards of various types darting as I walked along. A bit over halfway, I would have the peak to myself.

Upon summiting 9,452-foot Mount Wrightson, I stayed atop approximately 30-minutes taking in the sweeping vistas, Having begun my ascent will after noon, I needed to start back and knew that it would be dark return by trail with flashlight in hand.

It was soon after nightfall that I reached the junction of the Summit Trail and Josephine Saddle Trail. I had pulled from my backpack a Surefire G2X 15- to 320-lumen light with plenty of spare CR123 batteries carried and began running it all full output as I proceeded back to my Dodge Ram 4x4 at the Coronado National Forest trailhead located at the end of the Madera Canyon Road.

It was soon after starting down Josephine Saddle Trail that I noticed noises indicating movement to my left. It then became clear that I was being paralleled (escorted or stalked)  as I made my way down the mountain by flashlight. On multiple occasions, scanning with the Surefire light at high output, I could not see far enough into the forest to identify the apparently large animal following me. Movement of the animal was too fast for off-trail travel to be human in the uneven and forested terrain, in light or dark. I began to wonder if I was being stalked by a Mountain Lion or, perhaps, one of the rare Jaguars that inhabit the Santa Rita Range of S.E. Arizona I was in.

Another approximately 30-minutes passed and the paralleling presence was still there. Occasionally, the noise of its following would become more noticeable (perhaps a half dozen times). On my belt was a 1911 type pistol in caliber .45 ACP and it had been a presence comforting since dark,...even more so upon hearing the escorting movement outside flashlight range on the steep slopes below Mount Wrightson's summit.

As I moved thru a mixed forest of pine and deciduous trees, I was calm though prepared for a big cat to come out of nowhere. And, while preparing for a big cat. I had to note the unusual nature of a large creature moving so effortlessly on uneven, steep and forested slopes, keeping pace with my moderately quick pace by flashlight, down the maintained U.S. Forest Service trail.

After the paralleling/escorting incident on the Josephine Trail in the Santa Rita Range, I learned, in addition to sightings, territorial bluff charges and vocalizations, the paralleling, or escorting, stalks are attributed to Bigfoot. Upon reflection, I have presented this report as evidence of such behavior in another potential Sasquatch and human related incident

Thank you for your time & consideration. The area might be new in Bigfoot sighting reports.

Girl Scout Camp Terrorized by Sasquatch near Mogollon Rim

Shadow Rim Bigfoot (Mogollon Monster)

Tina writes RMSO
Thanks for the reply on yt.
I don't have exact dates,  however, around late 60's or early 70's,  I went up to Shadow Rim Girl Scout camp with my troop, there were about 30/36 girls and  4 adults.
We stayed in the lodge/ messhall and after dinner we were doing GS stuff and  getting ready to get into our sleeping bags, when something started happening outside (about 8/9 pm),  that scared all the girls and they were screaming,  the 2 men with us (leaders husband's), went outside to see what was going on.

Myself I thought silly girls could be just a deer/elk. The guys came back in and said whatever it was is gone.
Late during the night I decided I was going to get up early about the crack of dawn, and go over to Chase creek  and see if it was iced over, so I could ice skating in my tennis shoes.

Next morning I went to the creek by myself and was skating around,  I slipped and fell,  while I was getting up I looked behind me kinda with a quick glance, I thought I saw a hairy monster,  but when I looked again it was gone. So started skating a little bit more, then thought I'd better get back to the lodge cuz if I did see something it might get me and I thought everybody would be looking for me.

When I got back sure enough one of my friends was outside looking for me.  She asked me where I was, I told her on the creek and she wanted to go too. I really didn't want to go back over there, but she talked me into it.
Next morning me and 4 other girls went to the creek however we saw nothing.  I was kinda hoping they would see what I thought I saw the morning before,  to prove I did see something.
So that's what my experience was, what I thought I saw was mixed light to dark brownish red .
I have included a drawing to the best of what i can remember.
Back then there was only tent pads for the summer camping,  but there are cabins now. Where my encounter was where the road goes over the creek to the cabins and I was on the right side of the road.
Again Thx for inquiring about my experience,
Stay Safe,
Tina

RMSO
I love the drawing. Appreciate hearing about your encounter.
What State did this happen in?

Tina
Thank you, yes I'm was born in AZ.
THE encounter was at Shawdow Rim GS camp, 43 minutes northwest of Christopher creek , by Payson, AZ

RMSO
OK awesome.I really enjoyed searching for Bigfoot in that area. We found several compelling track ways while we were out there. Do plan on going back at some point in time because we loved the area

Tina
Oh definitely,  Payson area has always been a stomping grounds since I was little,  also Williams AZ area. I lived in and around Williams for 30yrs, had home by Grand Canyon. I've had encounters of Bigfoot by Williams since I was about 12yrs old. My last possible encounter was at White Horse Lake, South of Williams last July 2017 . The picture I sent "Placed Below" was in the road from White Horse Lake  to  J D Dam. My very first encounter was at White Horse Lake,  sitting around the campfire and hearing howling coming from Sycamore Canyon a cpl miles behind  the lake, i asked my dad what that howling was and he told me it was a donkey,  i thought to myself That's not a donkey or coyote.

I also saw one at a tank nw of Williams in 1989 , That really scared me and we my ex, kids and I left. I think I was followed home from Flagstaff to my home in Valle, AZ too, I worked at JC Penny's at mall in Flagstaff,  I would rake hwy 180 every night I'd stop 2/3miles past Snowbowl rd to potty, well one night after getting home , I was reading in bed about 1am there was a blood curdling howling scream  my window,  I slammed the window shut fast and just started  shaking . I know coyote howling and yippy noise, that was no coyote and I new I wouldn't find prints cuz we had cinders all around the house and driveway.

But my husband and I are getting ready to buy property possibly in the Heber/Overheard area or even Strawberry/Pine. So I  think my encounters wI'll continue.

The picture was from last July camping at White Horse Lake,  first night  about 2am  west of the Lake I heard coyote, yipping and then howling and it wasn't coyote howling,  then about 330am I hear something getting into my food I left on the table on purpose and by the time I tried quietly unzipping the tent it was gone. Next day Saturday is when we went researching

think I also had an encounter 30miles north of Ashfork,AZ in 1985on the Sevens Ranch, slapping on the side of the renovated school bus  and  a litter of puppies missing and the momma dog sometimes would go off in the woods and come back, stinky,  poppy, musty smelling.
You know I never realized I was possibly having settle encounters til I started watching Bigfoot videos in 2016 on YouTube

Sorry about misspelled words etc, I just got a new phone, and I proof read then I send something and realized the phone changed my words or left some out

Phillip M Reports Seeing Bigfoot near Flagstaff

Seen one preparing to cross the route 89 north from Flagstaff to the reservation one summer evening, right after sundown. The "creature," was standing very still near a tree trunk trying not to be noticed. Jet black, 8 to 10 feet tall, and at first I thought it was a horses tail blowing in the light mountain breeze so I slowed down, and turned on my halogen full beam lights. Then, thought is this a bear, but realized it was standing to up and was too tall to be a bear! When I scanned down again, I noticed huge dark skinned colored fingers under the jet black 5 to 10 inch strands of of matted shiny hair! I could not see the feet, since the grass was knee high, but the upper body was clearly displayed. I even was able to see the huge fit body and enormous upper body muscles on the arms, like it could scale a 45 degree wooded mountain or kill a deer by running it down and breaking its neck for food. As I got closer, I realized the enormous size and strength this creature had, and its intelligence to using the dark to hide in plain view! I freaked out and took off on 89 North near the Volcano national park turn off near by. This happened before the two road 89 was made, when it was a single two-way single road going North from Flagstaff, during a drought season in the summer. This creature was more thinking being and less ape animal to me, that was more reason to take off down the road. This area is known for deer crossing, so that is why I think it frequents this area waiting for prey. It could not have grew this large, and maintained the strength it had eating nuts or plant life alone, it needed a high protein source, like deer or other large mammal! The creature I saw was not like the famous California film reel creature, but very fit, tall, and looked more like a male, with its face covered in long hair. I guess it pushed its hair over it face to hide its eyes and to better hide in plain view. I was lucky to see this creature, since it blended in so well in the dark, and near the tree trunks while it stood still. The only reason I seen it was the slight curve in the road and the headlights of the car hitting directly on the creature and the trees. When the wind or breeze blew, it moved the tall grass and hair, but not the fingers and then I thought it was a horse's tail or a large mammal of some type. Then I just blasted the road with my high beam lights, and there it was in plain view. A vehicle was behind me and coming both 100 yards or more. I am usually cautious in this area since I don't want to hit a crossing deer.

Huge Hairy "Person" Looking at Runners from Side Canyon
Grand Canyon Bigfoot
\
B.G. writes RMSO
I went on a backpacking trek in the Grand Canyon back in the early 1990's with some buddies of mine as a way to get away to the outdoors before my soon to be born son was to arrive. On my second day in the canyon, hiking along Hermit's Crest Trail, facing east, I was jogging with one of the guys, a friend who was a surfer from England, while trying to make some time up as the rest of our group had left us behind because of our surfer buddy's badly aching knees. While we were jogging, I started to go into a trance state (I have practice transcendental meditation since I was about twelve years old) and although I was not purposely trying to get into a higher state of consciousness, there I was finding myself there.

Anyway, as I was jogging along, I started to see Shiva, Goddess of Destruction manifest in front of me but who was at least a hundred yards ahead of me. The weird thing is, I never believed in such deities. But, there she was, dancing in front of me, and she was so beautiful with all this golden light emanating out from her in every direction. I continued to jog as I started to describe what I was seeing to my British friend. He said that he didn't see her, but that he was curious and wanted me to keep giving him details about what I was experiencing.

After about a minute or so, she faded away and left me curious myself as to why that particular deity would manifest in front of me. Right then, as I was wondering these things, I heard a very stern voice speak into my right ear very, very clearly. It demanded to know why my friend and I were in "his" canyon. I was really, really shocked. But, I was also calm and remained calm. I knew the voice was Native American...I could hear it in his accent...and just his demeanor.

I responded to him by saying that we came here to enjoy the amazing canyon and it's landscape and that we were there to heal ourselves of physical and emotional imbalances. I asked him who he was as well. He responded by saying, again...quite sternly and in an authoritative voice, that he is the Eagle Spirit who guards and watches over the canyon. Honestly, I could FEEL his presence all around me.

Once again, I told my buddy what was happening to me and asked if he was feeling anything or seeing anything out of the ordinary, as I was sort of blinded with all this gold light flowing around me everywhere, even coming out of the ground and from the cliffs surrounding us. He said that he did feel some sort of presence all of a sudden and that he heard me talking to this entity, but did not hear the canyon spirit himself.

Then, as we were still jogging along the trail, my buddy got really close to me from behind and stopped me as he started squealing. I mean, literally, he was either scared or freaking out. I didn't know what was wrong with him. He was pointing ahead of us and stabbing his finger up and towards a side canyon which was quite a ways away from where we were. I asked him what. I mean, what did he see? He finally calmed down enough to finally verbalize what he was saying. He swore that he had seen some huge, harry person or thing looking at us...and said that it dipped down below the edge of this berm into this side canyon. I wanted to run to that location and he wanted to run in the opposite direction. And he is this huge, tall, muscular long-haired (at that time anyway) surfer dude who worked as a bouncer at a night club in San Francisco at that time. This was like I said, way back in the early 1990's.

Anyway, I never got to see this creature that he claims to have seen. But then, he seriously did NOT want to go investigate and I did. But when he showed me where he believed he had seen this thing...it really was quite a ways away from us and from where the trail lead to along the canyon. Later on that evening, when we finally caught up with our other buddies, we had just kept our mouths shut about our strange experience...mine and his. But apparently, our other friends ended up asking us if we had heard any strange whoops, screams and what they thought were yells earlier in their trek that day. Then we both opened up and told them what we both experienced. None of us could shut after that during the entire trip which as about a four day trek through the canyon.

Anyway, it's a strange story and I don't go around telling everyone because of the ridicule and laughter it evokes from the less open-minded people out there in the world.
Thank you for letting me share.

Keep posting those videos. Because I totally believe in what you are doing. Be safe as always.
Sincerely,

A Massive Monster Faced Him & Let Out a Chest Rattling Growl
Face to Face a Massive Hairy Monkey-Man Monster

Anonymous writes RMSO
Our son XXXX, who is an avid hunter/fisherman all around sports nut had a run in with Big foot in the late 90's.   He did talk with an AZ BFRO a few years after it happened and they posted his story without using his name which is still listed on their site.

I'll tell you what I know about it, how it's adversely affected him and vouch for his complete honesty.   We're from central Wisconsin. My husband's family is completely nuts about hunting/fishing/outdoors/camping, etc.   He was raised from little on involved with all that stuff.   He's also honest, no-nonsense, not a drinker or a bs type storyteller.    He got a bachelor of science double major in computer science and law enforcement administration.   He did internship and summer work in law enforcement and so has that background in observation and investigation.  He works in computer science/data security.

Anyway, when he got married, they moved to the Phoenix area to be by her family.   We wondered about his hunting/fishing because it's central to his life.   So, at first we heard about him fishing there-----and his hunting in northern AZ.  He was excited about the huge never ending wooded areas there.   Then, after a couple years, he completely stopped hunting, didn't talk about it and he completely focused on fishing.   He made a couple off hand comments every now and then about sticking with fishing because he wasn't the prey.  And, that he didn't want to hunt there because he didn't want to be the prey.   We knew something happened to change him, but he wouldn't talk about it.   But, we also noticed that he started carrying a gun when they camped.  Since AZ allows handguns, we didn't think much of it.

Around 2005 or so,  we were visiting him and were alone with him in his family room and his wife and daughters were outside or away.   He didn't want to scare them by telling them anything about bigfoot.....and he went to a  computer website with bigfoot calls and asked us, what kind of animal makes those sounds?   Then him and my husband went back and forth trying to eliminate and/or identify familiar animal calls.  He said, he never paid any attention to anything about bigfoot until he went hunting in the Kaibab.   He was visibly shaken, white as a ghost and almost shaking just recalling it.   He said his experience totally changed his life.   He said, Dad, you always taught me not to be afraid of the woods, respect it, but we're in charge.   So, I thought I was king of the jungle.   Here I am, an adult, and I'm scared of the woods.  I've went from being a little kid, scared of the woods, to thinking I'm king of the jungle, to now being afraid to go in the woods!   He said,  I saw face to face a massive hairy monkey/man monster.  I looked right at something that's not supposed to be real.  But, it's real.  I pressed him, how far away, what did it look like?   He said, "Ma, it was like right there," right there to my fence in the backyard.  So, he was describing maybe a couple hundred feet.  So, here's what he told us:

Him and a buddy went bow hunting for deer in the fall to the north rim of the Grand Canyon in the Kaibab forest area.   They both had their pickups, tents, atv's.   They were in the remote higher elevations on a dirt, mountain road.  They set up their tents, built a fire, etc..    They both went in the woods for a while but they noticed odd bent over twisted trees,  scratches and log formations.  They both started noticing sounds in the woods, like something was trailing them.   And, they had some rock throwing.  So, they went back to their tents, but the noises and rock throwing continued.  So, my son's buddy said it was too creepy there and so he packed up his tent and gear and left while there was still daylight in order to get down the trail back off the mountainous terrain.    Our son, figuring he's king of the jungle, decided that since he got a lottery deer permit and he had a few days off, he wanted to keep hunting.  So, he stayed in his tent by himself that nite.  He said he didn't sleep that well cuz he kept hearing noises, rocks and actual rubbing against his tent.  But, he came there to hunt.  So, at the crack of dawn, he gets on his atv and drives back into the deep woods where he parked the atv and then started  hunting on foot with his bow.   Again, he saw the twisted trees, brush structures and tree scratches.

As he walked around doing his hunting, he became more and more aware that something was trailing him.  He said he went through a mental checklist what it could be, such as, if a bear or cougar was stalking him, he reasoned, he probably wouldn't hear it so plainly.  Then, he wondered if a wounded animal was stalking him which could have been why it was making tracking noises.   He said he finally got mad and decided to figure out what he was dealing with.  So, with the hilly/mountainous/woodsy terrain, there are canyons and gullies----so he decided to drop down and double behind whatever was stalking him.   So, he quietly snuck down and behind some rocks/woods/terrain and then sneak up on whatever was there.    He started noticing an awful, strong,  musty, stinky, wet dirty dog smell.

So, he slowly crept toward whatever was there.  When he got through some terrain, there he saw a huge, massive monkey/man without a tail crouched down looking the other way, looking for where he was. He said he was so petrified and scared, he wanted to run and scream. Being petrified and responding by habit or fear, he aimed the bow and arrow at it. The creature then saw him. He said it stood up and let out a chest rattling growl. So, there our son was with his small deer bow and arrow pointed at it, facing it, frozen in fear.

He said, it had a human looking face.  He said, I'm looking at this massive monster that doesn't exist, I don't have a permit, my bow and arrow probably wouldn't even nick it. This 9' monster could charge me and break me like a stick.   He said he was transfixed in terror as they faced each other. Then, our son said he decided he had to ease away and not scream or run like prey.  So, he backed off with the bow and arrow, then backed up as fast but as smoothly as he could muster.   He then tried to watch it without staring as he tried to walk back and away toward his atv.    He said the thing shadowed him all the way, making noises, crashing trees, ducking behind trees.

When he got to the atv, he jumped in and drove back to his camp.   By this time it was approaching dusk and so he felt he couldn't get out of there on the remote road at nite.   And, he didn't feel safe staying in the tent.  So, he got in the truck to wait for dawn.   He said throughout the nite, he could hear noises, hear stuff thrown at the truck, and felt that something was brushing against the truck every now and then.  Whenever he noticed anything, he laid on the panic horn.   He said he was so scared he didn't think he would survive the nite.

At the crack of dawn, he got out of the truck long enough to grab his stuff and throw it into the back of the truck and got himself out of there.   He's never went back.  He said he's got no interest in deer hunting in those woods again because it's one thing to go there when you're king of the jungle but not if you're the prey where massive monsters can break you like a twig.
