I spent some of the very best times of my life at Deadwood. In the 50’s and 60’s there were 33 cabins that were all rentals. My dad was good friends with the Web Appel family who were the owners. We spent time there every summer for about 15 years. Did a lot of hunting and fishing there as well. I have 8mm videos of what Deadwood was like before it burned down due to a smoker. Although I never saw a Sasquatch I did smell them when exploring the caves above the mine in the large boulders.
