Nicknamed "Sasquatch Canyon" by Big Game Hunters 
because of Bigfoot sightings & tracks often found in the 
long narrow canyon on the south side of the Uinta Mountains

 To this day the nickname thrives. 
 With a recent close-up daytime bigfoot encounter reported by an archery hunter, along with dozens of footprints found in the canyon.

Homo Heidelbergensis 300,000 Year Old Skull Research Details


 First discovered in Kabwe, Zambia this skull belongs to an ancient relative of modern human.
It was named Homo rhodesiensis. Later it was classified as Homo heidelbergensis.

 The skull is estimated to be more than 299,000 years old. Young for a species that appeared over 600,000 years ago. Homo heidelbergensis lived in Africa and Europe. This ancient species left behind evidence of their intelligence in the form of an abundance of stone tools.

 The skull was discovered in a lead and zinc mine at Broken Hill at the time Northern Rhodesia, now known as Kabwe, Zambia.

 When Homo heidelbergensis made a living, there were at least seven other homonids that existed at the same time.

 Homo erectus, Homo heidelbergensis, Homo neanderthalensis, Homo sapiens, Homo naledi, Homo erectus, Homo luzonensis and Denisovans.
