Hi RMSO,

 We used to live in Pierce County in Washington, we moved to New York due to work commitments. When we lived in Pierce, the house we lived in had a good sized area of land at the back of the property. Me and my husband Tom used to set trail cams for our 3 young kids, we used to get some lovely wildlife and birds show up.

 Back in August of 2020 we checked the cameras one day and found a photo of a strange humanoid shaped figure that had been captured by one of the trail cams. Not really sure what to make of the photo, we never showed it to the kids, it is very odd and peculiar looking, it does look like a long haired humanoid shaped figure covered in hair. I wonder if it could be some kind of Yeti or Bigfoot type of being?

 We have just upgraded our computer system, the photo was in a saved folder on the old PC, to be honest we forgot all about it, not seen it in ages.

 I thought I would send it to you guys to see what you make of it? We found RMSO after a quick Google search and thought you guys look very open minded, so we thought we would let you have the photo to use and share (if you do share it online please don't publish my surname). We are not interested in this subject, the photo just sits in a folder on the PC unseen, we are considering deleting it for good.

 Pierce County is one of the top counties in Washington for Bigfoot sightings reported. BFRO shows 83 reports. Neighboring counties have many Bigfoot reports too. Lewis County has 50, King County has 47 & Skamania has 64.

 Our team receives several sighting reports from these areas each year including photos, videos & vocalizations too.

 Interesting trail camera photo, this does appear to be a hairy hominid of sorts.

Perhaps it could be a bigfoot individual.

 It's interesting to hear that you think it could be a bigfoot individual, me an Tom agree, it does look like a hairy hominid of sorts. I see you put it up on your bigfoot blog, we are just as mystified as I suppose anyone else would be at seeing that figure, and it's interesting about all those bigfoot reports in Washington areas, we never knew that.

 I should say, we no longer live in Pierce County, we moved to NYC some time ago. No, we never heard of any such stories from anyone in the area about bigfoots when we lived there. As for unusual tracks or footprints, the land was mainly grassland, not really much soil and dirt tracks to leave prints, Tom said it never crossed his mind to look for tracks at the time, but there wouldn't have been any anyway, it was mainly all grassland.

Where we live now in NYC, I haven't heard of any stories about bigfoots in the area, if I ever do I will let you know.

Thanks once again for your interesting take on the photo, me and Tom agreed that you can use that photo for any of your research, even if you ever write a book use it for that, we hope your readers find the photo of interest and enjoy it.

 My name is James, I live in a small town called Armstrong in Ontario.

 Back in 2019 I was going through a hard time. See I was 52 years old at that time and I had lost my wife to cancer and unfortunately we never had kids.

 From time to time I would drive northeast to a lake called the Blue Lake to practice stone skipping in the water. It was a way I found to treat my depression instead of doing nothing, since I'm a retired man.

 One of these days I was sitting down in a beach chair that I brought in my pickup truck in the margin of blue lake. After I practiced stone skipping, I was very relaxed and I slept in the chair. I woke up with strange noises in the forest beside me. It sounded like heavy footsteps, I looked at my wristwatch it was 4pm. 

 Less than 5 seconds later, this giant hairy man came out of the woods and stood just 6 meters from me, it was almost double of my size. I'm a 1,88m man, this man was surely about 3,50m tall, he was wider than a wardrobe, certainly weighting more than 800 pounds. His body was completely covered in brownish-red hair except for the face and hands. He had massive musculature, and his skin was beige, almost like a caucasian person. I saw his face, it was almost like a human but feral, wide triangular nose, wide mouth, a thick forehead bone and had a big beard around its face, almost like a mane. Its eyes were greenish yellow, he had an annoyed expression on his face like it was annoyed by my presence.

 It was growling at me while standing there, I did not have a reaction I was in shock at the moment. Slowly I got up from the chair, and was walking slowly to my pickup. Each time I took a step he approached a little more, before I had the chance to open the door of my pickup. The man did a bluff charge, my heart almost stopped because I was unarmed and I knew this thing could kill me if he wanted to. I quickly threw the beach chair at the back and entered the pickup and stomped the accelerator and drove away while that thing just stood there looking at me go away.

 I came back to my town and I went inside my house and puked in the toilet. I was extremely terrified, the thought of telling what I saw to the officer came to my mind. I talked to the officer of the town about what I saw and he told me he would be back soon. 

 He drove to the lake and came back. I asked him about it and he said he saw nothing except for some footprints. Then I asked him the size of the footprints, and he said "look that doesn't matter, next time you go alone in the woods just take a shotgun or a rifle with you. We never had this conversation ok? never tell this to anybody here" he said in a threatening tone.

To this day I'm terrified of going outside at night because the town is surrounded by woods and sometimes I have nightmares of that man I saw, invading my house and attacking me. 

I never heard about Bigfoot or Sasquatch until now. Now that I heard about it, I think what I saw that day matches the description, what do you think?

Sorry to hear about your loss. Hope you are doing well.

Your description sounds like a bigfoot type creature.

 1,88m = 6 feet 2 inches in height.

3,50m = over 10 feet tall.

 And 800 pounds.

Wow, that thing was huge.

Must have really looked like a person even though it was a giant covered in hair, because you keep referring to it as a man.
