I came across these south of fox creek alberta as I was working up a oilfield road that people who are not getting paid to drive on would not willingly drive on for recreational activities.
It’s as busy as a freeway but tree line to tree line a wall of dust you can’t see more than 30 feet in and can destroy your truck in a day if not experienced, if not for the radio must call Kms you wouldn’t know someone was coming towards you on the 30 foot wide road and you’d have accidents daily lol even being paid isn’t worth the stupidity of it all.
Anyway that’s the reason why I stopped at this creek because I rock hound and live walking the bush and being in nature.
I wear a size 11 shoe/ boot and I weigh 210 lbs and i couldn’t jump to make an impression this deep let alone clearly a bare foot bigger than my boot print.
I’ve never felt like I was helpless against another animal, even a bear I imagine some sort of chance lol but I didn’t stay long to find out.

Hi Curtis, a size 11 boot would be around 12.5 inches long & 4.5 at the widest point.

yup that’s right and that bare foot is longer and wider not to mention it was easy 2” deep in that sand witch i could barely make a print

When I used to be a firefighter out in Fox Creek a helicopter pilot was telling us a story about a battery operator who met up with a Sasquatch up near Berland Tower.

When I was working out in Fox creek in 2014. And I told you about this sighting I thought I had when driving down the Big Stone road, cross the Little Smokey River got close to the top of the hill when I seen a huge figure quickly scoot into the tree line down towards the River, across the marsh

Around 4 foot I guess to be honest I never even thought about that lol I was dumbfounded at the perfect toe marks and trying to imagine the size of person that would make rose tracks.

3 of us going down a straight road between 2 Hugh Swamps ..The Car coming towards us hits his high beams..There it was..50 yard's.Two three steps gone..Well when the other driver lit it up I hit my beams..It was looking at the other driver..I slowed down and stopped as the other driver did too.He looked a us and said did you see that?? I said yes ..We said I think it was a Sasquatch..Those were his words..Not mine..I can still picture it over 40 years later..What I noticed most was it's Arms swung not like a human..And they were long..
