New Species of Killer Whale Discovered

Scientists spot what may be a new species of orca near Chile.

Pieces of skin  collected with cross bow darts will be tested to genetically identify if this is indeed a new species of killer whale.

Bob Pitman from Southwest Fisheries Science Center in La Jolla, California remarked

"Type D killer whale could be the largest undescribed animal left on the planet."
