 When I was about 13, I remember going camping in the early 60s with a friend over night in the woods over looking our town on the Oregon coast and we both heard something walking around in the brush around our camp.

 A couple days later we went back to the spot to play around, and on the way home something began throwing rocks at us, as we neared the edge of the forest. We believed it was this obnoxious neighborhood kid, and as I saw a partial glimpse of something with black hair, I thought it was his dog, but when we confronted him about it, he swore he was at his grandmother's house, out of state, all that summer, and didn't have a dog.

  A little over a mile from there a few years later, one guy claimed a bigfoot stepped in front of his car then it ran away down some railroad tracks. A couple days after that a farmer told the local paper he saw one on the edge of his field.

 In 1971, I had just turned 21 and was drinking beer at night at a friends house . I stepped into the backyard to relieve myself and there was something with glowing red eyes looking at me maybe 30 ft. away. I figured it must be a deer. I came back the next day and walked over to check out the deer tracks and there was a big drop off there, with a 2x12 retaining walk. So, whatever was looking at me had to be at least 8 ft. tall. This was maybe a mile from the rock throwing 8 years earlier.

 Incidentally, something used to bang on the side of my friend's house there. He began to call it Sam Dark, because it would only come around after dark.

 I joined this group for a reason, so here are my experiences..
In a cabin surrounded by woods, woods that connect to the mountains in Selle valley north of Sandpoint; I had smelt/ heard BF. In this location, I also saw a white orb in the tree tops.
But, it was in a location deeper in the mountain that I saw a BF.

 I had just moved into this house 2 weeks prior. Did not know my neihbors and was living alone. I had set up my surveillance cameras, dvr ( I tell you now, no... hard drive, I was to get that later; additional 100$)

 July 14, 2014, I heard kids on the drive way, I had been here 2 weeks and did not know my neighbors. So I got up to look at the monitor to see who my neighbors were.. The house sat on a somewhat cliff, where below was lush vegetation and creek. My neighbors kids were walking down the driveway toward the street (where the creek runs along) ...

 I had 4 window (cameras) showing on the monitor, as I looked at the frame of the driveway I saw my neighbors walking, there was movement in another frame that caught my eye...the picture is burned in...

 Red curly hair matted head and shoulders...a huge humped back.
Walked thru my frame. This camera was at the back of the house shooting the backyard and fence, the figure walked past this 6' fence. I saw it for about 2/3 seconds.

 My reaction was to grab my shotgun and run to the front door where it was heading...this took all of 5 seconds..there was nothing when I looked out the window.

 I measured from the ground to the approx height...7 1/2'. He would have been. He came up from below the house ( the drop off) and was heading in the opposite direction than the neibors on the opposite side of the house.
I gather to avoid them.

T he color was reddish brown or camel color. Head was tilted forward.
This area is not the kind of place you walk around in someone's yard.
This road had a big reputation for being tough and wild. (Don't want to mess with these people) Regular gunshots etc. There was not a man in a suit.

My reaction was typical...shotgun.

I saw it clear as day on my monitor , and don't question the existence at all.
The circumstances are indisputable, I know this area. BF is real. Yes it scared me, and kept me indoors.

I was really never a Bigfoot believer at all before I had a encounter myself while hiking. I know what bears look like and this wasn't a bear or a man in suit. My friend and I were pretty shook up and honestly haven't been back to that spot.

last year mid July.not sure of the date

I live in RI and was near a town near Connecticut. my friend and I were Hiking in this huge parcel of woods when we heard something running off to our left, when we looked it was like a man running but much larger, fully covered in black hair but brown at the top of his head. We were in some thick woods near a swamp and definitely wasn't a guy in a suit no way. there are no bears where we live so idk what else it could be. I'm a believer now and most definitely know what I saw was real. I'm guessing it was around 6.5 or so but very heavy body. I'm 6 feet and 260 and a bodybuilder and this thing was considerably larger

I wish I could go back to that day and try to take a picture instead of running the opposite direction



honestly I never believed it at all so for me to see something like that kinda changed my view on things. I'm not sure what it is? type of ape or type of man? After this happen I started to really do my own research online and until I came across the Patterson film is where I got chills.. from the back it was exactly what I saw. Almost a cone shaped head but with fading brownish hair on top. my friend and I were pretty quit in hopes of bumping a few deer and in this area there isn't any hunting. again we were at least 4-5 miles in and hiking for 2 hours and I'm absolutely sure this wasn't a person. The sound of it taking off was of a animal that is heavy almost like if a horse was running. I really can't believe I saw this thing but it can't believe nobody has come forward with a body or clear picture. the only thing I can compare what it looked like was in the Patterson film
