I have had two sightings. One when I was 12 years old riding on the back of a four wheeler with a buddy in the woods. We passed by a dumpster that was left out there for the loggers. As we passed we saw something rummaging through the trash and then stood up. It was 8 to 9 ft tall with a silverback and started chasing after us. My buddy won't talk about it in front of other people.
Then when I was probably 23 years old, I was coming back from a place called Crossett Arkansas. Then passed over the river into the Felsenthal wildlife refuge, I was coming up on the local liquor store of the area right as you start to come out of the refuge.
In front of me and at least six other vehicles on coming and following behind me. A tall Sasquatch very very thick very dark with little brown on the lower arms and legs. Very long dark hair on the head and very broad shoulders with a very thick neck. Walk straight over the highway from one ditch to the other and into the woods again. Broad daylight.
Oh and also this one walked past one of the diamond road signs. So reference for size is just inches shorter than that. I don't know how tall those signs are exactly but they stand a good deal higher than me. So there's the point of reference for that particular one.

Same. Arkansas. Just a few miles from the second sighting. Air miles not far at all.
Look up Strong Arkansas. Rinky dink little place. Just a few miles down Pigeon Hill road from there. Then the second was a few miles east 11 years or so later when I was about 23 a few miles east from Strong Arkansas in the Felsenthal wildlife refuge.
Also a few places to check out close to the area are Southfield road in the El Dorado Arkansas area and the Corny Bayou
There have been several others who have spotted the creature around same area. One I was told actually came in the back yard of a home stealing chickens. IN TOWN. A place called Deer Crossing or landing.

We receive several reports a year of these creatures taking chickens, hogs and raiding fish farms.. Apple orchards, gardens and such.. They will also take the the farm animals food, some will come right up on the porch to take dog or cat food. Really enjoy hear about different peoples encounters all across the US. Especially when certain reports are the same. It was killing chickens, taking hogs or eating the dog food.

But I've often wondered why the one I seen at 23 in Felsenthal would walk in plain sight across a road. Not run. Walk. Not even briskly. Huge strides though and seen by other people in oncoming cars. At least 6 other people seen it not including any or their passengers. I live in Hot Springs Arkansas now and people here have seen it. This is national park area and reasonably it would make sense because it meanders the forest here. Great place to come trek if you ever get the notion to.
I should also share my experience when I was 15. Almost forgot about that. I kept myself locked in my room sketching a lot and it was late about 9 or so. I was tired of staying cooped up and decided to get some air. Walked down the drive to my uncle's place and sat at the front door of his trailer. Looked over the house and remember thinking "I didn't know there was a full moon tonight."
I continued to sit there and happen to glance over to the east where the pond is. Looked over the treeline and there was the crescent moon to the southeast. Looked back over the house where I thought there was a full moon.
The thing did look off hue from actual full moon light I remember. It moved a little then went just left of me behind the tree at the end of my uncle's house for a minute or so then moved back behind a little further for about a minute. It went behind the tree at the end very briefly again the back over the house where I'd first seen it. It hovered over the house for another few minutes and started wobbling very fast then shot to the northeast like a bullet.
It was out of sight in a second. Maybe less. Went back inside to tell my grandparents and my grandpa asked where I'd been and why I was gone for so long. I said it was only 15 minutes. He told me that him and my grandma had been waiting for me for over an hour. 😳😳😳😳. No joke. That actually happened.

My encounter took place in a little town Waterloo, Arkansas. It was late that evening I an another guy had just checked a couple oil well pumps from a flat Bottom Boat. We started back to land. We got into a jeep and we headed down a dirt road.
We got about 1/2 mile down the road and this thing come running and thrashing through the woods breaking Pine limbs as it came out. It jumped in the middle of the road we travelled and it let out a scream. It was mad.
The smell of this thing was awful. Like a skunk but worse. Razor sharp teeth. It stood there looking at us about a minute. We had a single shot 22 rifle. I was going to raise it but the driver of the Jeep put his hand over the top of the rifle as I begin to raise. It looked at us for about 3 minutes and it turned an headed to the edge of another woodbine. It looked back turn to the woods it was gone. I shot 1 time it was gone. The creature height around 9 foot tall. Massive. My story.

Thanks for getting back with me on this. The creature was massive. @ around 9 ft tall. Weight of this creature around estimated 900 to 1000 lbs. Color Black and reddish. Long arms. Long Matted hair. It let out some loud screams. Ear piercing. I never ever hope I see anything like this again. The guy that was with me is deceased. I know it happened.

My name is Sharon at the age of 10 years old in 1969 we lived in Dequeen, Arkansas.
One night woke up to the sound of chickens going crazy. Me and my sister look out the window to see a very large some-thing breathing sound. It was standing at the fence.
The fence was 4 feet high and it was about to 7 to 8 feet tall. Our chickens were going crazy. Two hundred of them were piled up on each other trying to get away. He killed most of the 200.
Then our pigs start going crazy. So dad and I started to walk down there. Both me and dad stop by the feeling we were in danger. We went back to the house the pigs stopped making noise.
The next morning we wake up to see all the dead chicken. Then the pig area, they were in a 12ft by 3ft wood pen.
We find our pigs ears ripped off. So it tried to pull them over the wall, unable to get them out he ripped off their ears.
We moved away to the town I live now. They came out with the movie about the Fouke Monster. We lived 30 miles from there.

I had a bigfoot in my yard when I was living in Elk Ranch Arkansas in the Ozark mountains.
It was so big it towered over a 9 foot flower bush on the side of my house. It made very strange sounds, scary as hell.
I am not scared of much but because my wife was in the house. I got a large gun and sat up till daylight to protect my wife and the house, this thing could have ripped me apart and I am a big man. 6'2" and 375 pounds. But the thing was every bit of 10 to 11 feet tall.
The noise it made was scary as hell. I lived there for many years so I knew the sounds of mountain lions, bear, wild hogs. Nothing like this thing. It was 20 times louder than any bear or lion.
I never told my wife about it till we moved from there. I sold the place and got out due to being blown up in my yard by the electric company there.
But some things you never forget. The huge silhouette of a giant Bigfoot and the blood curdling sounds.
I was just relieved to sell the place because that thing could have came back and done anything.

I know that parts of Arkansas are famous for the history of Bigfoot sighting reports and encounters.
Of coarse I always think of the "true" Bigfoot encounters recreated in the famous movie Legend of Boggy Creek.
Your report reminds be of a Sasquatch Canyon Bigfoot encounter where the two witnesses saw the creature sneak up behind a willow bush and peered at them over the it. I investigated the location & the creature had to be 9 to 10 feet tall to look over the willow at them while they were sitting around the camp fire.

This wasn't an earth shaking encounter by today’s standards, however at the time of the sighting it was. I am enclosing the notation I had made regarding my sighting which was some time ago. However the details were imprinted in my mind forever. What reminded me of the encounter was the “Finding Bigfoot” episode where the police dashcam video captured a BF crossing the road: Here it is.
BIGFOOT NOTES:
I don't know where this was taped (regarding the police dashcam). However in 1968, we were traveling north from Shreveport towards Texarkana on our way to Memphis. It was about 3 am in the morning. We hit a very lonely stretch of road which was heavily forrested by pine trees on both sides of the road and very little right of way on the road. On a curve, our headlights caught a bipedal creature about 7-8 feet tall running across the highway from the right to left, taking only about three large steps and into the pines. This was not a bear... Arms were excessively long and had a rounded head, no neck, no ears, no snout and a massive build. My mom, two sisters and I all were all extremely shaken to the core and stopped at the next motel some 20 miles down the road. No more night driving for us. I had put this in the back of my mind for 30+ years until I accidentally came across this dash cam video. It gave me chills and made my hair stand on end, as this is exactly what I saw some 30 years prior. I never said anything over the years as occasionally overtime when I tried to explain what I saw, I was chided and berated, laughed at etc. I saw what I saw. This was not a bear, not quite human, but I will take it to the grave with me. Somehow I feel lucky now that I may have seen a new undiscovered species. I also discovered just recently that my sighting was in the Fouke, Arkansas area where there had apparently been Bigfoot sightings. Keep an open mind. Just remember the Panda and the gorilla were just fables for many years until verified.
This was to the best of my recollection. The date may have been 1967 to 68. It was during summer. I hope this note was not too confusing. I have hunted elk, deer and bear in Missionary Ridge mtm. Durango, Colorado, so I definitely know a bear when I see one.
