Spooks Horses at Farm along the San Juan River
Atsa S. writes RMSO
It was during the summer of 2019 my dad and I were sitting out on the back porch we have a farm that is about 80 acres and it stretches all the way down to the San Juan River in New Mexico.
As I said my dad and I were sitting outside looking down on the farm and where are horses usually stand under the trees all of a sudden got spooked and they all came running out we had about 15 horses. They all galloped away from the trees my dad thinking that the wild dogs that have been running up and down the river must have spoke them. But we saw no dogs running after the horses.
So my dad told me to go inside grab his binoculars so he could look down there. Went inside got the binoculars and gave it to him and he started looking down that way from where the horses had ran away from and my dad kind of freaked out and he goes oh my God there's a big bear down there on the other side of the tree and I looked at my dad and I said we don't have Bears down here.
He said I know that but this bear is standing up behind the tree so I asked my dad to give me the binoculars so that I could look at it when I look through the binoculars and focused I realize that this was not a bear this was a Bigfoot and my heart like to jump out of my chest and I started telling my dad that this is Bigfoot it's Bigfoot dad and he was like Bigfoot there's no Bigfoot around here and I said Dad it's Bigfoot.
My dad got the binoculars again and started looking down there again and my dad said if I had not have seen this with my own eyes I would not have believed it. We watched the Bigfoot lean from one side of the tree peeking out to the other side of the tree peeking out and looking up towards us. I think it knew that we were watching it.
After about 10 minutes it turned around and walk back down toward the river. After that we never saw it again but we would hear it howling and grunting Some Nights when we were sitting outside on the porch it would be going up the river or down the river it's a sound I will never forget ever
RMSO asks
Were you able to estimate the Height or Width of the Bigfoot you saw through the binoculars or tell what color it was?
Atsa continues
Looking through the binoculars and seeing this Bigfoot was probably a good 1500 yd from where I was to where it was. But I tried to find a mark on a tree something that I could look for after it left. When my dad and I went down there a day later I look for the mark that I was looking for and it was a little knot on the tree Once I found it my dad measured it and it was a little over nine and a half feet tall. The width probably about four to five feet wide this was a big massive Bigfoot
The Taos County Sheriff's Office offered safety tips for campers in the area due to a Bigfoot warning. The tips are the "do's and don'ts" if you happen to encounter one.
The warning states that the species are coming down from the high country to the Kern River to hunt for fish and vegetation. If you happen to see one, here's what they are saying to do:
Do's
Go about your business
Take photos documenting the event
Don'ts
Do not run toward or away from Bigfoot
Do not yell
Do not try to feed Bigfoot
The sheriff's office also said that the species will not enter an occupied camp or harm people. If an encounter happens, the public has been asked to report it to the closest ranger station.

Bigfoot Tracked near San Juan River between Shiprock & Kirtland
Shiprock Sasquatch near Kirtland along San Juan River

San Juan River between Kirtland and Shiprock, NM August 2008.
We don't give exacting locations for further study, but I can say this river has activity everywhere and anywhere between its source around Wolf Creek Pass, CO all the way into Utah. Area between Farmington and downstream from Shiprock appears to be the hottest activity. Basically pick a spot and look around. People will also talk about strange vocalizations, footprints, rocks thrown, tree-branch structures, etc and that's a good place to start as well.

Look how those toes appear to function almost like fingers. A lot of great information can be derived from this single photo. Thanks Dave. Great job documenting this.

Thanks alot, much appreciated!
The mud may not have held an accurate print. The good thing is there are more out there!
This one was best, others were more distorted and misshapen.
I was with JC Johnson back then, looking at a spot where a car had been driven off the road a few months earlier and heavy equipment were pulling it out. We noticed footprints all over the river bank, also observing where a tribal policeman tried to erase the footprints, but didn't get them all.
Rockwall art near the area. This ancient newspaper tells it all.
Cropped view of the upright object. It is not a rock shadow or vegetation but something solid and blocking light while standing within pinion pines.
There is a lot of activity in the Mogollon Rim of Arizona. Surprised this has not been reported by camp hosts more often there and the Four Corners locations.
I know a gal who used to camp close to the site where Travis Walton and his logging crew were abducted by alleged aliens in the 1970s. Told me a few years back she will not camp there any longer due to observing grey aliens and Bigfoot activity. Its apparently still ongoing after the abduction occurred.
I remember three years ago, listening to my police scanner about a "gorilla" observed near my home off US 64 near Sunray casino, New Mexico. Bright sunny morning at 7am, and a female sheriff deputy reporting to stopping a car and saying to dispatch "I also saw that gorilla while turning around on the highway." With a voice that she really didn't want to see or deal with it. The area has a fair share of sightings, especially in and around nearby San Juan River from Colorado all the way into Utah.

Look at the structure we found and a print I cast this is in northern NM
RMSO
Good work casting the prints..Do you think the tracks had anything to do with the structure. Or rather any prints close to or in the structure area?
Tim Anderson
Two different locations about 20 miles apart. No prints around the structure, we could sense something was around, our German Shepherd was scared and wouldn't leave or side.

Here a print I found yesterday in northern NM
The knife is eight inches long and the shooting stick is about 42 inches long.
It appears to be one creature walking through the area.
Prints were probably made when snow was receding.
I used the shooting stick to measure the stride, one print is left foot the other is the right.
RMSO
According to your 8 inch knife these footprints appear to be between 14 to 16 inches in length.
The 2nd to last footprint photo reminds me of a deep impression I found in Utah April 2012.
