Hi there. I just commented on your Monte Cristo YouTube video and you commented back saying you'd like to hear my story. Well, I'm emailing it to you because it's a bit long for YouTube comments. Lol.
My name is Jenna and back is 2006 my husband and I were taking a weekend and scouting for deer in the mountains. We drove up Monte Cristo to ant flat road and after a few hours in the mountains, we stopped in a place that I've only ever heard called "scare canyon".
It was a neat little area with a grove of quakies and a stock pond about 100 yards away. We had about an hour of daylight left so We set up camp for the night in the grove of trees. We slept in the back of our pickup so setup was pretty easy. We built a small fire to cook dinner and sat around until it got pretty dark. (It was a full moon, so it wasn't super dark).
We had our heeler dog with us and she was sort of exploring and roaming around just outside of the fire light. Well, I started to get an uneasy feeling sitting around the fire so I climbed into the bed of the truck and continued talking with my husband. About 10 minutes later our dog starts running around the fire (still just outside of the light) like crazy. She was whimpering and crying, running and jumping. It was weird because she has been around big game before and it never bothered her. Anyway, she comes running out of the darkness and jumps into the bed of the truck, she curls up behind my back and she is shaking like a leaf. I hurry my husband into the truck and he reluctantly gets in. He falls asleep pretty quickly. The dog always sleeps on my feet, so she was curled up near the tailgate. I was just dozing off when I felt her shift and sit up. She started to growl very low. I told her to lay down but she continued to sit there and growl at something.
About 5 minutes goes by of her growling and I sit up to see what it is. I look towards the dirt road (about 75 feet from us) and there in the moonlight stands this HUGE animal. At first I thought it was a moose, but he would have had to be standing facing me. As I watched this thing (for what seemed like and hour, but was only 2 or 3 minutes) it starts to walk downhill towards the stock pond. I panicked because it was huge!
I laid back down hoping it wouldn't come hear the truck, when I sat back up a few minutes later..it was gone. I estimated it to be between 8 and 9 feet tall. Extremely wide shoulders and thick. I could see Some muscle definition in the bright moonlight. I tried waking my husband but he wouldn't. If my dog could talk, I swear she could tell you more details! Haha.

Hi, I had a sighting around 2016 near Mantua Utah. There appears to be enough activity and sightings around here that maybe it is possible to actually find one and get good footage. For the record, I don't necessarily believe that Bigfoot exists. I have gone to great lengths to explain away what I saw. I can give u location and story if u r interested.

I don't want my name going public. I was sitting at Pete's cabin during the elk hunt, spotting for elk. I had been there for several hours and I was getting restless. I decided to leave the cabin and I started off down the ridge in an easterly direction. To an area that I have not been in before.
I had went about 100' when I got the feeling I was being watched. I stopped and turned, sure enough, there was a spike by two elk on a ridge 375 yards away. I sat down and watched the elk for a good amount of time, hoping a bigger one would show up. It was past mid-day at this point. I decided that I would take a shot at this elk. I steadied and took the only shot that was available, a head shot.
There was no indication that I had hit the elk but I went to check for blood and sign. When I got to the location where the elk had been I found no blood. I cut for sign for twenty minutes. I followed the elk tracks for about 50 feet, no blood. I took a break to think things over. I decided because of the time of day and my earlier shot that I probably blew everything out of there and I was going to call it a day. I planned to head down the west side of the ridge that I was on and take a trail that I know out the bottom to the main trail. I was no longer in hunting mode at this point.
I was just trudging along with my head down. I was going through scrub oak that had a good understory that was about six feet tall and the taller trees were about 15 feet tall. Out of the corner of my eye I detected movement. As if something was picking acorns out of the top of the taller trees. Like a left arm retracting down from the tree top, and a body turning and crouching.
I stopped and focused my attention to the area. I could see a large black shape obscured by the shorter oak it was about twenty feet away from me. The animal appeared to be crouching and I could see part of its head and one eye clearly. I was confused about what was going on. What I thought I was seeing don't exist yet there it was plain as day in front of me.
I watched the animal for a while. It didn't move, I didn't move. I got my wits about me and I decided to attempt to scare the animal. I yelled hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, while clapping. The animal responded with a growl. I tried scaring it several more times with the same response. The last growl seemed more threatening, so I decided that making distance was my best bet.
I turned and headed back up the ridge for aways then I headed west and circled around the area. I dropped down to the trail at the bottom and headed for the main trail. Once I hit the main trail I jogged for about a mile before slowing my pace. At this point it was just getting dark but still light enough that lighting was not needed. At some point i came into cell service and I got a text from my hunting buddy (he did not join me that day) so I called him and I told him the story. He didn't believe I word I said, other than I took a shot.
Now since I am a skeptic here is the explanation that i came up with of what I saw. I saw a moose standing on its hind legs browsing out of the top of the trees. When I came up it dropped down to its four legs and turned toward me. It growled at me when I attempted to scare it. But I was close enough to have saw moose ears. This explanation seems unlikely also.

It appears to me that your sighting was across the canyon from Old Pete's Cabin? I actually filmed a moose there.. I doubt you thought it was a moose that you saw otherwise you would not have contacted us?

Yes across front Pete's cabin. I have seen several moose in the area. And no I don't think it was a moose. With out using the word Bigfoot I can't explain what I saw.

Hello, I have a story to tell that I've been holding on to for a while. I've seen your videos on Youtube and I think its worth sharing my story.
I'm the kind of person that seeing is believing. I have always been outdoors my entire life and have learned to tune in my outdoor mountain environment. I love getting as far out from the city as I can where I feel at peace.
I worked for the forest service for 5 years as a wildland firefighting. I used to train almost every day in the off season by hiking with a 50 pound pack up XXXXXX XXXX trail in Spanish fork Utah to get ready for the season. I've hiked the trail for 4 years and was very familiar with the trail.
I was hiking up the trail in early march after a fresh snow storm the night before that brought 2 inches of snow. About 8:00am on a crisp cold and calm morning I started hiking and I noticed there were some big foot prints in the snow. I know this trail very well and I know there isn't many people that hike during the winter. I was starting to realize the print wasn't made by a person's bare foot. When I notice that I really started to examine and study the print. It was very wide but only about 2 inches longer than my foot which is 12 inches. I thought this was very weird and got me thinking. Why would a someone be barefoot this time of year. I noticed the prints just didn't look like normal human footprint. The print was wider and the big tow looked miss shapen or deformed. Anyways I kept hiking my usual hike still looking at the prints thinking this is eerie and don't know what to think of this.
I hiked about 1.5 miles up and the prints move off the trail and up a steep and rocky mountain side that lead in thick pines. Here's what I was thinking is that in a seasoned fit experienced hiker that does this for a living. To me it didn't look fun hiking through that terrain. I started realizing this had to be a wild animal and yes I started thinking sasqautch.
I sat there on a rock to rest and think about this situation when I heard a huge boulder come down from the cliffs above me. It really startled me. Then I heard a deep beating noise that seemed to pass through my body. This was nothing I have ever heard before and I honestly felt like my life was being threatened. I started to put my pack on to get out of here and another huge boulder came crashing down. I was scared at this point and started running as fast as I could down the trail. I think I got the best workout I've ever got. I could have won a gold medal.
On a more serious note I knew that what happened was completely out of the ordinary and new something or someone did this. In other words this did not happen naturally by mother nature. I've now had a few years to think about this. I believe it was the everyone has been seeing. I really want him to be found and I want science to recognize that they do exist and not everyone is crazy. Anyways if you need more from I can be reached at XXXXXXXXXX thanks

Summer of 1977 coming from Logan on highway 30 heading toward Tremonton, rounding the bend at the mountain (I think it is considered Collinston area)anyway it’s between Logan and Tremonton.
It was around 6:30pm and 7:30. A big sedan car with an elderly couple were in front of us, my friend and I were behind them traveling about 45 to 50 miles an hour, as we rounded the turn at the base of the mountain a large white enormous something walked across the road in front us, hairy from top to bottom, extremely tall, long arm, whitish color and took only four steps to get from one side of the road to the other (at that time it was only a two lane highway).
I still remember it walking across the road swinging its arms strongly as it crossed the road like it was on a mission to get to somewhere, not even giving us a second thought. As it crossed in front of us the car in front slammed on its brakes to avoid hitting it, as did we. As the car in front slammed on its brakes his back end slid on some of the gravel on the side of the road causing dust from the impact.
The creature dropped down over the embankment and was gone. The elderly man and my friend immediately jumped out of the car and my friend told me come on "Let’s go see it". Nope, I'm scared, shocked and thinking what in the world did I see? I started locking all the doors, I sat in the car just watching them continue talking and looking over the edge of the road, shaking there heads like where did it go, talking as they used hand motions to show each other what and how it crossed the road and dropped out of sight. Me not moving an inch still staring at the embankment trying to process the last few minutes of my life.
At that bend in the road it had an old very larger tree with lots of foliage, there were tall weeds at that area and because there was an incline in the road that’s why there was a drop off at the side of the road.
They talked for a little while longer, then they both got back into each other’s cars and we all drove off. It had vanished into who knows where. A day I will never forget.
I would always drive over to Logan by myself thinking nothing of it. But after that, I never did again, I always took someone with me.
Before this this incident, While still in school age 17, 18 we would have sunrise devotional and parties at a place called Early Park just miles from where we seen the creature (Sasquatch). While there I always felt very uneasy, like something was watching me. At different places there I remember like feeling the back of my hair on my neck standing up. It wasn’t but sure felt like it. But something was watching me (us).
I remember as a young girl like 6 or 7 years old, my dad took me with him once, it was close to the same area he was talking to a man. The man had a donkey and they were both talking about stuff and I remember the man looking at me saying don’t you wish you had big ears like this donkey and laughing. My dad and him continued to talk. I remembering having the same feeling like something was watching us and it wasn’t the donkey, I remember getting closer to my dad not moving away from him until we left.

Were you able to roughly estimate its height compared to the car that was in front of you? This is really interesting, the color of the creature is similar to the Bigfoot in Logan Canyon that crossed in front of the snow plow driver that was featured on an episode of Finding Bigfoot.

I can’t really remember I just know he was very tall taller than a human. And I only know he took only four large steps to cross the road and was gone, the road estimate I would say 12 to 13 feet for each way plus three to four feet on the sides. So you are looking at least it walking 29 to 32 feet with only taking four steps. I do remember that. It was like I describe it like lump, lump, lump, lump, and he was gone. His arm swinging very strongly. And his steps long strides. If I had to estimate his height I would say 8 to 9 feet tall.

We were just camping in Tony Grove this past weekend. My daughter heard a really loud snort & grunt of something HUGE with massive lungs. She was in the tent at the time.
A few years ago I saw a silhouette (full moon; very bright) of a very large, two legged, upright something walk past our tent at Tony Grove. The next morning we saw footprints close to our tent.

Let me start by saying. that I have not ever submitted this incident with any other organization prior to this. This happened to me and my best friend around July of 1988. My friend passed away in 2018, he and I had recounted the incident to our families and some of our close friends but we had never discussed reporting it to any organization or to any authorities. I have been following your organization for a few years now and I think you are the best ones to report this to since you have investigated several other sightings or incident's in the same area where this happened.
A little background on both of us. I grew up in and have lived around the Ogden area for the majority of my life. I spent some time in the military outside of Utah, then came home and stayed in the Utah National Guard. I grew up in a family that spent a lot of time in the mountains. Camping, hunting, fishing, and off roading all over the state. The majority of that time though has been spent in the mountains closest to home. My friend and I met while working together as teenagers, and stayed close friends all the way up to his passing. We spent as much time as we could exploring the mountain roads and camping up around places like Avon pass, Ant Flat road and of course the roads all over Monte Cristo, and that area.
When we were younger and worked together we usually didn't finish work until late at night around midnight most of the time. Many times when we would get done at work we would hit a drive-thru, grab some food and head up to the Monte area to drive around and explore.
The night this happened was one of those nights. We left work in my friends 85 Toyota truck around midnight grabbed food and headed up the canyon. We started off by cutting across Ant Flat road heading to Hardware Ranch. At that time we had never gone east past Hardware Ranch, that night we got a wild hair and decided to go see what was east down the road that ran across that way. As we were driving around we saw a sign for a place called Bug Lake, we had never heard of it before so we decided to go up that way to check it out.
When we got there we were a little disappointed to say the least what is named a lake, it's really more like a small pond. We saw that the road around the lake headed back toward Monte Cristo, so we decided to keep going that way to check it out, away we went. We had drove around, took a couple of dead end logging trails and backed out to the main road etc... I am sure you are familiar with the road.
When we got a ways down that road we noticed something in the trees on the side of the hill on the passenger side maybe 30 ft or so off the road was pacing us along the road. We were probably only moving 10 to 15mph, that road does not really allow for much faster than that. We thought it was maybe an Elk or a Moose and didn't think much of it at first.
A few feet further along the road it had dropped on the road next to the truck. I had not yet noticed it next to my door, when all of a sudden the hair on my arms and the back of my neck was standing on end. I looked over to my friend driving and he was white as a ghost and staring out my window. When I turned to look that direction all I could see was a dark harry figure running next to the truck.
At that point all I could see was from about mid bicep area to the elbow and as it was swinging its arms as it ran, it looked to me like it had hands not paws but hands with opposable thumbs. Its shoulders and head were above the cab of the truck.
Then my friend started to speed up to nearly 30mph. The creature than ran past the truck and passed us by about 20 to 30 yards. It took one step to the center of the road, turned it's head toward the truck and a swear its like it was looking at us, and the next step it was to the other side of the road and down the side of the hill into the trees again and we lost sight of it.
We were pretty freaked out and my friend kept the truck at around 25 mph the rest of the way along the road until we reach paved road at Highway 39. We didn't stop until we reached the spring that comes out of the side of the mountain a few miles down the road. We stopped and both questioned each other about what the other one saw to make sure we both saw the same thing and sure enough we both described what we saw almost to a T.
Later on that summer and fall we tried to find and figure out where that road was and the few times we did get back there something would stop us from getting back to that same spot. Either a large log would be fallen across the road. The following spring there was a large snow drift still across the road. It actually took us until the summer of 1991 until we were finally able to get back up to where Bug Lake was.
I will say that prior to this experience. I really had no real knowledge about bigfoot, except for the few sightings around Hwy 84 in Riverdale that were in the Ogden Standard in the early 80's. Then they had Bigfoot on the old Six Million Dollar man TV show when I was growing up. My friend had lived in the Bay area of California the year before he and I met, so he had heard about some of the stories from northern California. But he had very limited knowledge.
I mean at the time you couldn't just google things and neither of us really had the time to invest in any kind of serious inquires into the subject. We continued to camp up in that area together at least a couple of times a year to try to see it again but never did seen it again.
Since he has been gone me and my kids still try to get up there and camp at least one or two weekends a year.

Hi James, we know of several people personally that have had Bigfoot sightings on that same mountain, including a couple of our team members.
It towered over the cab of the truck, what height and width estimate would you be able to determine with it compared to it being next to the truck?
Did you ever see the head profile or see its face or eyes? Were you able to tell what color the creatures hair was?

Hello Kelly, thanks for reaching back out to me.
The top of the truck was about 5 feet 8 inches or so high, so I would say it was at least seven and a half feet tall. The shoulders and head were both above the cab. From my point of view it looked like the top of the window was just a bit below the chest height.
It was pretty wide across the chest but hard to give a good estimate. The way it turned and looked at us when it crossed the road put the chest at an angle so any guess wouldn’t be very accurate but I would say it was maybe one and a half times as wider than an average sized human male. The side profile was also very wide. I would guess also about on and a half times as wide as an average human male.
Hair color was very dark almost black.
The head was slightly conical but not to a sharp point, the face looked like it was mostly covered with hair except around the eyes and nose. The eyes looked black or very dark brown, the lights didn’t really hit the face directly so we didn’t get any type of eye shine. The skin tone around the hands and face that I could see looked kind of a brownish/grey color. Not sure how to really describe it. It was kind of a weird mixed tone of those two colors. Hopefully that makes sense.
I didn’t get a good look at the feet, but it was feet not paws. The way it was moving for sure was like it was on feet and not paws.
I know this may sound like a cop-out but the closest image I have seen in all the videos I have seen over the years is Patty from the Patterson/Gimlin film. But no sign of breasts and to me it seemed slightly larger than Patty, but not a lot bigger.
Even the way it moved makes me think of Patty, only it was moving a lot faster. Like I said it paced us going at least 25mph and ran out in front of the truck at least 20 yards ahead of us, then took one step as it turned in front of truck and the next stride was on the opposite side of the road and we lost it in the trees as it went down the hill.

My encounter was during a special buck deer tag hunt that my ex husband drew out for in Grouse Creek, Utah about 15 years ago.
This Bigfoot was taunting a huge buck I'm guessing is what it was doing? It was hiding in a large circular area of reeds in the middle of a field out of view. This buck deer was thrashing about stomping it's front legs and putting its horns into the ground very aggressively. As my daughter and I watched this my ex made his way to a better location nearer to the buck in attempt to get a better shot.
This put him on the East side of the field and the buck was in the center on the outer edges near a tree line on the West side. My thought was perhaps this buck was angry and trying to protect the females? The only strange thing about it was, what was he actually protecting them from. Because from our point of view there was nothing other than him?
My ex made his way directly across from this buck and took a shot hitting the buck, causing the buck to run in his direction. That's when it "Bigfoot" came out from hiding. It was running right behind this buck, chasing after him, fast as lightning! It was Huge!!!
I would guess it to be at least 8 feet tall if not more? It was covered in black hair from head to toe, the hair on the arms was a bit longer. I remember watching as it ran, how the arms were longer than normal but muscular, same with the legs. It ran in an upright position.
We didn't get a good look at it's face because it was a side view and also a bit too far away. The buck and bigfoot made it to the other side of the field and out of view. A while later my ex came into view signaling the two of us to drive the car over.
When we got over to him he told us he hit the buck but couldn't find it? He didn't see the Bigfoot! I'm guessing it was due to the fact that he changed position after having shot the deer, also the reeds were extremely tall and thick. I really don't know? Without a thought my daughter and I joined him in the search for this buck deer. We searched until after dark with no success? Not even a drop off blood? It's as if it just disappeared?
Mr. Squatch took his buck? I guess we'll never know? It wasn't until a few years later that I really thought about it all. It's something you put into the back of your mind because you don't wanna look crazy or feel crazy? If I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes I wouldn't be here telling you about it right now. Sorry it was kind of a long story but True! By the way this is the first time telling anyone else about my encounter other than family. Thanks for listening!

Hi folks!
I came across your videos ad have really enjoyed them.... I had an encounter with a big foot in the Uintas in the late 70s. I was face to face with one 10 feet away... Id say he was 8ft tall, ad standing between two trees behind me... It made No effort to conceal himself.... There was a 300 scout, boyscout campfire going on about 100 to 200 yards away.... I think it came to watch the show!
I'm intrigued by the level of activity you've been able to document.... My home is in Salt Lake, Id be interested in going up the canyons and particularly rough hollow for the backpacking alone! looks like beautiful country...
