Hunting Island Sasquatch Encounter to Park Staff
South Carolina
Tuesday August 2nd 2022 three visitors to the Lighthouse on Hunting Island, South Carolina reported to Park Staff a Bigfoot spotted walking quickly on the left side of the exit road about 15 to 20 feet in front of their car.
It was around noon and the creature disappeared into the thick Palmetto and Pine jungle that surrounds the exit road.
The creature is estimated to be around 6 feet tall, with 3 feet long legs, human like joints at the knee. Dark brown, splotchy hair approximately 2 inches long.
All witnesses were in a state of amazement. They have been vacationing on Hunting Island since they were children from the 1950s to the present. And have never witnessed anything unusual like this in the past.. They have seen many of the abundant wildlife over the years that live on Hunting Island. Nothing ever like this creature though.
The three witnesses reported the incident to Hunting Island State Park office on August 3rd 2022.
The Park Superintendent deems this a credible incident and will initiate an investigation.
The witnesses also reported the Bigfoot sighting to BFRO
WTOC 11 news station also picked up on the sighting and reported it.
