A rotting nasty smell just before Osage Sasquatch encounter

I encountered a Bigfoot about 5 miles from Honey Creek

Late summer corn was getting harvested around here. We were told of a creek that was great for saining minnows. So, myself and my two kids found the place at the time daughter was 10 and my son was 14. 

 We discovered that at the low water crossing a great place to cat fish and just deep enough to cool off. I’m 5'6 and the water in the pool off the side was collarbone deep on me. We really like this spot it was small catfish but they would bit We catch and release most times. So we started hooking in to some bull heads and we threw a few up on the bank they had swallowed the hook to the tail fin and probably would not live anyway so on the bank. It was hot for over a week and as a bus driver I would get too hot. So after school 110 on the bus in the afternoons as soon as I was finished with the route and supper, we would go to this place and cool down and fish till dusk. 

 We had done this most of the week. So, this one evening we were fishing sitting on the cement low water crossing backs to the road, north shallow water behind us smooth like glass. We were not talking much, when on the breeze we got this nasty smell like nasty wet dog rotten flesh and body odor all in one. My kids where like what is that and I told them I did not know, could be a dead animal, we dismissed it and kept on fishing. 

 Now I'm not sure how long it was for sure but it was not long and we heard a splash kids asked what was that I figured beaver. Then there was the second splash closer this time, water droplets hit the cement just on the edge. By this time we were standing up looking for what was doing this, all of us are up looking northwest, the sun setting behind the trees looking over the standing dry corn that was golden brown. When we see a third rock in midair, ark from the bank about 4 inches thick ten to 12 inches long and about 6 to 8 inches wide and that is when we all saw it standing on the bank, its back to the telephone pole, but behind some tall grass that was also turning brown. 

 The gravel road runs east to west so where now still looking north west my son is now stuttering mom, mom. This things shoulder is the same height as the pole id tag (Over 7 feet tall), color similar to the corn and dry grass. Its like a massive build bodybuilder on steroids and watching us. It has no neck, just muscles and deep set eyes, a back sloping forehead, prominent brow ridge. It's hair came to the brows, clean faced but did have hair like a man beard. Eyes glowing amber.

 Now I know it was not eye shine, the sun was behind him setting in the trees. No sound from it or nature silent over the fear, I got the impression I could leave so I reached down breaking eye contact to grab my daughter’s hand when I looked up it was gone, no sound just gone. 

 Now my son is still stammering but pointed and said it went north up to the wood line fast. We grabbed or stuff in hast and got in the truck, that just so happened to be parked on the same side of the creek as it was. Scared is an understatement, I pissed my pants and did not know or realize it until we were about 2 miles from there. 

 Never saw its feet, I saw from about where our belly button would be up. Each year at least once a season we have had suspicion that we have been watched in other areas while fishing just last summer closer to home evening fishing had a herd of deer come hastily out of brush cross a river and come out next to me and disappear in to the woods after hearing very large owls on the same side the deer had been I can show you where he was and 2 places I'm thinking it also was 3 out of 4 in my family saw this thing. Our impression is, it was a male. And now am not so much of a hunter and I will not fish at night.
